  • @[member="Kära Vi'dreya"]: Of all the beings in the Galaxy, only one knows the true face of Darth Metus. That is the famed Darth Kyros, one with whom Darth Metus shares blood.
STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES
  • + Conditioning: Over the course of his lifetime, Darth Metus has accumulated a variety of skills outside the areas of lightsaber combat and Force utilization. Resourcefulness, athleticism, and even the knowledge of a variety of modern armaments have turned Metus into a deadly combatant, even when he is devoid of traditional, Force Sensitive armaments.
  • + Dread Master: Much akin to the Sorcerers of old, Darth Metus has dedicated himself to the spreading of hysteria through the Force. The apex of his abilities in the Force revolve around affecting the minds of his adversaries. He, like most Sorcerers, is also adept in a variety of Sith Spells outside of his specialization.
  • + Resilience: Pain is far from being a threat to Darth Metus, for years spent as the plaything of an interrogation specialist took that "advantage" away. At present, Metus is a rather difficult nut to crack.
  • + Knowledge: Having owned and diligently studied a number of Sith Holocrons for years, Darth Metus is a walking, talking compendium of information. He is well-versed in the history of the Sith, the ancient tongue, and knows of numerous legends and tales that are far from common knowledge.
  • + Creation: While leagues away from being at the level of the Sorcerers of old and the experts of the present, Darth Metus has demonstrated a talent for the art of Sith Alchemy. Though a fledgling compared to others, he knows enough of to forge a Sith Sword and to make minor adjustments to the genetics of a being.
  • - Concentration: While powerful, the specialties of Darth Metus require a phenomenal sum of focus to accomplish. On the field of battle, the majority of his arsenal of spells and abilities could only be accomplished through luck, sleight of hand, or if a sufficient sum of support is present to give him the breathing room required. In short, in a one-on-one scenario, it is not outside the realm of possibility to prevent Metus from accessing the vast majority of his skills through constant pressure.
  • - Hypersensitivity: Though only a halfling in terms of Umbaran lineage, Darth Metus has a rather high, ocular sensitivity when faced with sudden, blinding flashes of light. Though the response is generally extreme disorientation, he can enter episodes of seizures similar to those suffered by epileptics. Though this particular shortcoming is addressed by Metus' constant donning of protective eyewear or a helmet, a single flashbang to his naked eyes could remove him from a battle.
  • - Specialization: Darth Metus' abilities revolve around the utilization of the Force, thereby occupying a large majority of his time to obtain and maintain. While this has resulted in an exceptionally-capable Sorcerer, his skill with the blade suffers as a result. Compared to others of similar "rank" in the Force, Metus' skills with the blade are below-average at best.
  • - Voices: Darth Metus "suffers" from a mental disorder known as paranoid schizophrenia. Though the level of this mental illness is currently mild, it does occasionally produce voices in Metus' head which make outlandish suggestions, mock, persuade, or otherwise affect him. Metus is fully aware that these voices, which also develop into hallucinations at times of physical exhaustion, are not real; but even that does not quell them. It is thought that his specialization in mentalism resulted in the development of this disorder.
  • - Stealth: For any wielder of the Force with the most rudimentary grasp of Sense, Darth Metus sticks out like a sore thumb. Between his own signature and the aura of his Sith Sword, it is an elementary task to feel Metus through the Force.
