Description: Its original maker and owner, Darth Jar Jar, was a Gungan Sith Lord that cycled through lightsabers throughout his life as a Sith: for his time as an Acolyte and much of his time as a Knight, he used a lightsaber without quillons. When his first lightsaber broke in battle, he wasted no time crafting another one, this time with perpendicular quillons. Shortly prior to his death on Aquilaris in 240 ABY, his second lightsaber broke in combat and he crafted a third lightsaber whose quillons are pointed away from the hilt, rather than perpendicular to it. Due to his Gungan heritage, he decided, over the course of his life, to craft all three lightsabers with underwater operation in mind.

Before taking off on what proved to be his last flight, he encased his lightsaber under lock and key, fearing that his crew would kill him in flight using his own weapon. When Darth Jar Jar died upon crashing his J-327 Nubian yacht, his ship remained lost to history until Ugohr Poof discovers the wreck, and the chest, over 600 years later.
