Strengths:
• Using the glorious technology of Bifurcating Cyclical Ignition, Imperia’s lightsaber has overcome the largest flaw in lightsaber technology – the fact that they short out when submerged in water.
• Redundancy in the lightsaber’s internal circuitry prevents the blade from shorting out when it comes into contact with Cortosis – this, of course, doesn’t mean that the saber can cut through cortosis, only that it isn’t rendered useless when the beam touches it.
• The Alchemized Casing on the saber hilts mean that they’re very, very hard to destroy – a precaution taken due to the circumstances surrounding the loss of her last lightsaber.
Weaknesses:
• As any good Jedi Killer knows, a lightsaber is little use against rapid slugthrower slugs - while one slug isn't a massive problem, the momentum from a slug can transfer to the saber, ruining the balance and flow that a lightsaber user's defense against projectiles relies on.
Description: Darth Imperia’s first saber was a curved hilt design, made as an homage to her Mistress’s own pair of blades. It was sleek and elegant, comfortable in the hand – yet despite all of this, it never truly felt like her saber. Thus, after the destruction of her original during a duel with a certain Cathar Sith, Imperia began construction of a new pair of sabers – a pair created to suit Darth Imperia’s aggressively mobile, up-close-and-personal style. To begin with, the hilts are straight, rather than curved, not to mention longer – and thus, suitable for either one-or-two handed use, depending on the situation. Each saber is also exceptionally durable; from the alchemized casing to the redundant circuitry, these blades are designed to last. The last and most noticeable difference, however is that each blade is one meter in length, similar to an ancient longsword. Imperia found the one-and-a-half meter blades to be unwieldy and slightly impractical, so, of course, she shortened the blades to suit herself. While this sacrificed range in the general sense, her range of motion is greatly increased, as is the fluidity and dexterity with which she wields her weapons.
