DETAILED SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Lightsaber Resistant: With the spear head being alchemised and the shaft of the polearm being imbued with the Force, both parts can resist Lightsabers. However, prolonged contact could result in damage and even destruction.
  • Dark Eater: As it was Alchemised, Darkbite was imbued with the ability to feed upon the Dark Side and empower the wielder of it. The more suffering and pain it is around, whether that be of the foe of the wielder or the wielder themselves or even a bystander, the more Dark Side that Darkbite can consume and the more the wielder's physical strength increases. This effect is continuous, with Darkbite always 'feasting' upon the Dark Side. However, with it serving not as a focusing tool but a conduit and is constantly active, if it does not have a wielder, it'll end up 'venting' the Dark Side energies into the surrounding area (creating a cycle) instead of into the body of its wielder.
  • Corruptive Influence: As it was empowered through the use of the Dark Side, any who wielder Darkbite will hear the whispers of the Dark within their minds. Lightsiders will feel pain upon trying to use this weapon.

Strengths:
  • With the spear head being alchemised and the shaft being imbued, the weapon is resistant to Lightsabers.
  • Darkbiter is Alchemised to draw upon pain and suffering in the surrounding area and increase the strength of its wielder in a measure equal to the amount of suffering and pain it is drawing upon.
Weaknesses :
  • And who wield Darkbite will hear the whispers of the Dark Side within their minds.
  • Due to the fact that Darkbite was a simply spear before it was alchemised and imbued, as such, the connection between the spear head and the shaft can shatter with enough force.
  • Unless someone is wielding/holding Darkbite (absorbing the 'vented' Darkness and gaining an increase in physical strength), then the endless cycle of it 'venting' the Dark Side back out into the surrounding area serves to make it stand out to Force-Sensitives.
DESCRIPTION:
Darkbite started off life as a simple spear forged and created by Darth Lykos under the banner of his Workshop, Res Taret Hakkle (Translation: The Bone Knfe). However, when Lykos made the decision that one of the Sith Assassins under his command needed a better weapon, he chose to remove the spear head and alchemise it before imbuing the shaft with the Force before rebuilding the spear. Afterwards, it was passed onto Honas'di.

Is this in general, say it's dropped / loses direct connection to the wielder it continues to gather and store the negative energies?

Also, I'm of the impression that this is meant to be a weapon that can focus power and be directed / amplify the user's abilities. If I'm in the correct line of thinking, do add this to the submission.

After you answer those, we can go on from there.

The view I had when writing this was that, yes, that served as a generalised effect. It's continuously 'consuming' Darkness. However, unless it is being wielded by someone, it'll 'vent' it outwards as it's not really a focus, more a conduit, a part of a circuit, if you will.

I've attempted to clarify this in the sub with the addition of "This effect is continuous, with Darkbite always 'feasting' upon the Dark Side. However, with it serving not as a focusing tool but a conduit and is constantly active, if it does not have a wielder, it'll end up 'venting' the Dark Side energies into the surrounding area (creating a cycle) instead of into the body of its wielder." to the Dark Eater Detailed Special Feature. Does that work?

Added "Unless someone is wielding/holding Darkbite (absorbing the 'vented' Darkness and gaining an increase in physical strength), then the endless cycle of it 'venting' the Dark Side back out into the surrounding area serves to make it stand out to Force-Sensitives." to Weaknesses.
