Trials of the Dark Jedi Order​

Dark Jedi are constantly being put through trials to keep their training current. Each time a member moves through the ranks of the Order they encounter a trial.After completion of the trial the member is awarded a crystal from the caves of Ilum.These crystals are often fashioned into jewelry or pendents for the Dark Jedi to wear as a symbol of their status.


Trial of Worth

• The trial of worth is the determination if someone is worthy of training in the Dark Jedi Academy.During this trial a master may watch a potential apprentice and even give them a task. When the member completes this trial they are awarded an old fashioned map with a ruby fashioned at the top.

Trial of Wit

• The trial of wit is a task that must be completed to become a Dark Jedi Apprentice. The map they were given is a puzzle and once solved it shows the location of the Temple of Shadows where the Dark Jedi live and train. To reach the temple a potential apprentice must climb down the jagged cliffs and survive the harsh elements of Ilum until they are able to reach the temple doors. Once they arrive they are awarded a sapphire and are officially considered a Dark Jedi Apprentice.

Trial of Fear

• This trial tests an apprentice in ways that are personal and close to them. They must overcome a deep fear with the use of a hallucination.This substance will test their bravery and fears.Once this trial is complete the member is awarded an amber stone.

Trial of Shadows

• This is the trial that allows an apprentice to become a knight. Each apprentice must complete a task assigned by their master.This task holds a deep significance with the apprentices past.They are often asked to overcome a great obstacle and show their loyalty to the Order.Once this trial is complete the member is officially a Dark Jedi Knight and is awarded a diamond stone.

Trial of Time

• This trial represents dedication to the Order and a mastery of the abilities of a Dark Jedi.Members who reach this trial have trained apprentices, participated in Order events and proven themselves loyal to the Dark Jedi Order.The trial asks that a Knight spill blood for the Dark Jedi Order.Once this is complete the Knight is awarded a fire opal and considered a Dark Jedi Master.
