The Sith Covenant uses the MEGACORPOPOLIS mandate to expand its territories by purchasing hexes through UCs. Every 100K UC buys one hex. So far we have purchased 14 hexes with this mandate, for a total cost of 1.4M UC.

From now on, you are encouraged to transfer any UCs you have no use for to the

This transfer will be seen ICly as the purchase of ‘shares’ within the Dark Consortium, a nebulous organization backed by the Sith Covenant, that serves as a shadowy layer between business and the outside Galaxy.As Lightside nations attempt to sanction and destroy the economic activity of the Core, the Dark Consortium provides security, safety, and obscurity to corporations operating within Sith Covenant territory.
Benefits
What benefits do you receive from transferring your UCs? Obviously, the main point of this transfer is to support the Sith Covenant as we expand to more territory. Territory you can then use for your own roleplay, but we want to try and make it a faction mechanic rather than simply ask for your UCs.As you transfer your UCs and buy into the Dark Consortium, a number of IC opportunities become available to you:
- Private contracts and business opportunities
- Criminal and corporate contacts
- Introductions to participating companies
- Shipping, manufacturing and logistical support
- Access to ports, shipyards, laboratories and industrial facilities

HIERARCHY
SHAREHOLDERYou have purchased an initial stake within the Dark Consortium. This gives you lifetime access to the standard benefits of being a Dark Consortium shareholder.
Your shares remain yours permanently, even if you choose not to make any further purchases.
Purchase price: 100K UCs once.
HIGH ROLLER
You are one of the principal backers of the Dark Consortium. You have purchased a large quantity of stocks to increase your power and influence within the organization.
This rank requires you to already be a Shareholder. Your accumulated shares and standard benefits remain yours permanently. While you maintain your position, you receive enhanced support and are officially placed on the steering committee of the Dark Consortium.
When you speak, the organization listens. Your voice carries real weight in deciding which ventures the Dark Consortium supports, where its resources are directed and what opportunities it pursues.
Purchase price: 500K UCs once, in addition to the initial Shareholder purchase.
PATRON
You are a consistent investor within the Dark Consortium. Every month when the books are opened, you purchase additional stock and increase your stake within the organization.
This rank requires you to already be a Shareholder. Your accumulated shares and standard benefits remain yours permanently. While you continue making monthly purchases, you receive enhanced support from the Dark Consortium as one of its Patrons.
If you stop making monthly purchases, you return to the rank of Shareholder or High Roller, depending on how many stocks you have purchased.
Purchase price: 20K UCs every month, in addition to the initial Shareholder purchase.
