Description: Designed as a powerful broadside weapon capable of shifting and making a firing solution. The swivel goes 90 Degrees from forward to side and depending on the ship can be leveled to provide maximum firing arcs like a star destroyer. The model and design of the barbette if changed from turbolaser to anti starfighter and defensive railguns. One of the major drawbacks is the effective range as the further it is from the ships the less accurate it is with a wider spread from the cannon shot. The style of gun that has been used with the barbettes while initially a command ship weapon for broadsiding and strong it built with a larger power draw and able to be mounted on smaller ships due to not being built into the super structure of the ships bridge and frame. The final addition was the ability to mount it on a repulsor sled for longer range artillery strikes in case of failure and crash. Armies will be able to cannibalize the guns into something for protection from enemy troops before they get close.

What type of weapon is this? Mass Driver? Turbolaser? Ion Cannon? There's no mention of these at all in the description or anywhere else.

[member="Bianca"] edited and it is antifighter rail guns. Traditional barbettes were turbolasers, Eshan on the site made an ion barbette pre wipe and this is just flak cannons in the turbolasers place
