---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

STRENGTHS:
  • [+] Cunning: While not exactly the sharpest tool in the shed when it comes to booksmarts, Dakil is quite the crafty and perceptive halfling.
  • [+] Mixed Blood: He's got the best of both worlds. The Zabrak traits of twin hearts and a high pain tolerance as well as the Graug traits of physical prowess and an innate connection with the dark side of the Force.
WEAKNESSES:
  • [-] Vision: He's only got one eye. Self-explanatory for the most part, but his field of vision is limited and his functional eye is quite the vulnerable target.
  • [-] Lightside Sickness: Strong applications of the light side (chiefly Force Light) will cause immense pain and debilitate Dakil - such is the typical Graug reaction to the light.
  • [-] Reputation: Being a halfblood within the ranks of Graug society isn't something to be proud of. Around every corner awaits social obstacles that can hamper his ambitions in advancing his power and influence.
ABILITIES:

While the Force is present within this beast of a creature, Dakil's knowledge and applications of it are quite wanting. Most of what he knows has been self-taught through trial and error, and most powers come in the form of mentalism techniques such as Beast Control, Mind Trick, and Doppleganger. Most uses of these powers are usually mediocre in performance when facing opposing users of the Force but inexperienced and non-sensitive beings may succumb to them.

In terms of melee combat, Dakil knows absolutely nothing of the traditional lightsaber forms. Years of brutal, violent and cutthroat tactics and techniques of close quarters combat have seen him start to develop his own style. It's somewhat of a combination of both Shii-Cho and Djem So. Simplistic in application but very aggressive and offense-oriented.

APPEARANCE:

If one had to describe Dakil with a single word, it would be warrior. Standing two inches over six feet and weighing in at nearly two hundred pounds, Dakil is a rather large man. Bred and crafted for war, rippling muscles, thick bones, and rough skin give off a distinct impression of a man who's destined for conquest. With one eye torn from its socket, the other scarlet orb gleams with wit and ambition.

BIOGRAPHY:

A short life of strife and oppression was fated for Dakil. Born of a Graug warrior and his captured Zabrak concubine, he was the unintentional result. And so, the young halfling began his life without ever being wanted, without hearing care in either of his parent's voices. However, this was a society starkly contrasted to the rest of the galaxy - a culture that revolved around war and conquest.

Dakil soon became known as Dakil the Destitute. He was without food and water for many of his early years, often having to rely on his own skill and wit to haggle for or steal whatever necessities he needed to live. The harsh Graug society taunted and ridiculed the Zabrak blood in his veins. However, none of that stopped the young warrior from living up to his heritage as best as he could. He trained, he fought, he bled, and he suffered for leaders and generals that desecrated his name each and every day.

So he went berserk.

That poor young warrior slaughtered them, or as many of them as he possibly could until they put him down. The Holy Clan briefly took Dakil under their care. Dakil was tormented under them as punishment. Flesh was torn from his bones, stole part of his sight, and then cast him away.

A shamed one, he was - and vengeance he craved.
