She may (but probably, definitely) is the heiress to a crime family's fortune. Dahlia is the last living member of the Nova crime family -- having outlasted her father and two sisters (their mother had long been deceased). However, growing up with sisters that wanted to off her took its toll. Dahlia is constantly believes someone is out to get her. This leads to many restless nights and mornings that require many cups of caf.
Though she may dabble in the family business from time to time, she's chosen to sell spice in order to fund her lavish lifestyle. Few would suspect her, that's the charm.
