Dagobah not-so-wise.

Dark and loud swamps of Dagobah served themselves a home for many creatures, large animals, small, bugs, mysterious being that we cannot comprehend with our bare minds. Around a special creature - a near-human at that, was patches of some of the most stable land for landing a ship on, as well as paths to some of the most common Jedi and Sith visiting of ancient caves and temples.

In the mist of creepy sounds, sat a peaceful woman who fiddled with holopads and strange bits of metal parts in a small dirt hut, one of which produced barely any light, and made strange humming sounds from it's ancient and patched generator which helped fuel all of the monitors and audio systems for hundreds of meters from the house.

With an audible groan, the woman leaned back onto what seemed to be a torn apart and used battle bot, using it as a small recovery zone for many moments before standing up and walking a whole meter to her monitors to see who had landed - if anyone today. Usually it was an empty planet, but you never know with population...

There were whispers abound, Dagobah was a planet of peace and mud and swamps. But Thraxis had heard the rumors, as strange and far fetched they may be, he was told that the water of the Swamps could be used to make Alcohol more potent. Anyone with scientific know how could denounce these rumors, but Thraxis was not one such man.

He had jumped into one of the smaller ships, all he needed was a ship with enough room to carry a lot of water. So he stole one of the Jackals ships as well as a Pilot and made his way to Dagobah, strapped with his armor and two pistols. There was little need for much else.

A twilight sky, dotted with distance dots broke apart, a chunk of mass flying into orbit, its body circling around the planet looking for any sort of landing pad. Thraxis was worried, he knew that with the force embedded planet that many Sith and Jedi would came and go. Both of which never did take to kindly to pirates.

As a good pirate may fear, there was a highly Force Sensitive being on the planet below, but with the mess of game and heavy sets of plants, it was a wonder how anyone could sense it from two meters away - yet alone a hundred meters from the dirt hut.

Today was not giving itself a good name. Kiara was running out of food so far, and her little machines weren't wanting to work properly. Finally getting up, and leaving the company of her holopads, she went outside to stalk and capture some of the smaller game. Her only armings, a metal staff.

It was a good day for a hunt, at least, and meeting an infamous pirate.

After a few hours of struggling to see past the brush and Thraxis edging his finger further on the trigger as time dragged on. Soon a landing zone was found and the ship navigated through the brush, the trees scraping away bits of paint as it forced itself through the cracking trees. A humming nose melodically roared as the ship started to quiet down, the engines slowly turning from a mighty roar to a soft pur as it finally touched the ground.

Quickly the hangar eased down, revealing a few men with a lot of containers, "Okay Soldiers! Here is the mission, get all these containers filled with water." he yelled as a few men rolled down containers the noise cracking as there momentum slowed down. All around was no water but Mud, though Thraxis had not come here just for some mud.

His voice held back another order as something moved through the canopy, followed by a loud sqwak as a giant beast fell through the brush, its wings engulfing one of the men as it flew back up above the canopy. "Huh..." Thraxis uttered aloud as the others stopped and stared as one of their comrades was abducted by a monster of a bird. "Well. Consider that incentive to work fast." he said with a callous grin, almost pleased that he didn't have to bark an order at them to hurry up.

There was something truly and deeply uncomfortable in the surroundings as the old muddy hermit walked through the shrubs and deep foliage that gathered from years of not being able to clear themselves. The regular screams of animals and cries for mating or war raged through as always, but something new slowly trickled in her ear. The sound of machines. She had only dealt with a few only times before, and in those times gotten something out of it, but every surprise was always unpleasant.

She quickly dashed her way to the noise, only to hear more and more near-human voices stretch themselves out into the open air. After the second scream startled out into the wild air, the hermit stepped from the shrubs to make herself more noticeable, walking forward with her own two feet and her lone steel staff. "This is not a place for scavenging young hunters," the tired and knowledgeable voice sounded. "I suggest the far left for decent supplies."

Another beast swooped down from the skies, its voice screeching as it targeted Thraxis, its wings pushing down against the wind as its teeth bared and its wings narrowed as it flew down with greater haste. An eyebrow raised as he sighed, his hand snapping his Pistol as he shot at one of the wing tendons, causing a screeching mess as it came falling down, its body crashing and pushing along the dirt. Its body jolting back and fourth in pain as it tried to escape. Thraxis moved closer to it, ejecting his Somatoll needle as he dug it deep into its skin. Some may think this a mercy, but he planned on using it as bait to hurry up the rest of the men.

As the needle dug through the Skin a voice broke from the brush, a weathered voice from the sounds as Thraxis turned, it made a few too many jumps in logic. The first was assuming they were scavengers and the other that they searched fro supplies. "Supplies? Oh no. I ain't here for no supplies." he said as he put his gun back in its holster, while his other hand began t dig through his trenchcoat, pulling out a small vial of booze. "Nah. I just heard that the water here could be used to make alcohol. Like. Really potent alcohol." he said as he emptied the vial in a quick toss, before continuing, "Though I don't put much stock into rumors. I more just wanted something to do." he almost chuckled as the men started to fill the kegs up with the water. Trying their best not to get much mud into them.

Drunks..? What a joke. She was nearly always intoxicated swimming about in her of mess of a mind. A faint smile spread over her lip as she dug her thin yet durable staff forward into the mud, letting it sink in as she leaned forward well below 120 degrees. "Alcohol?" She asked with a quick humored tone. Her eyes quickly flickered to the other men who decided to follow orders, watching them for just a moment before her eyes flicked back to the pirate in question. "Those legends are to the thick behind!" She called out, pointing to the back of the ship.

There wasn't much going on here after all then, a bunch of workers and a tough guy wanting to stir up some potions because they were bored and killing the larger prey, which actually helped her as long as the bigger ones didn't decide to storm up at the smell of freshly perished meat.

Huh, Maybe there was a grain of truth in the rumor. Thraxis thought to himself as he looked to the men. "Well. Get a move on. To where ever the thick behind is." he ordered as the men whined and moaned as they began to move behind the ship. Taking their guns in hand as the forest floor began to rustle and stir. It seemed something had already sensed the vulnerable prey.

"And hurry up. The faster we do this the less casualties we will have." Thraxis commanded as he looked to the hermit that had readily revealed themselves. "Cheers mate." he said with a nod of the head and a bow of the body as he turned to follow the men. At the rate things were going Thraxis would be going back with nothing but Kegs of booze and a dozen casualties.

Real booze water wasn't something you came across every day. With a small curiosity broken apart from her normal every day staying away-ness, the young hermit stepped forward and more so to the ship, more so behind the pirate she had just engaged with. If he could turn water into booze, or more so try to, it was all the more amusement and possibly bottles for herself.

"You'll need a guide. After all, more water more alcohol, and you can't get that much when most your crew goes off falling into the deep pits of Dagobah," The hermit said matter-of-factly. She was never good with words in the most important conversations, but when it came to things she rather enjoyed she tended to have quite the imaginative voice.

"Pit falls?" he said with curiosity in his voice, it wasn't a shocking idea that Swamps would have a lot of pit falls. Just one he didn't really focus on."Well... we will probably need someone to take us back to the ship. Okay then. You lead the way." he said as he took the first step into the swamps, moving to tell the men there was a new order of business to follow.

After a few more steps he had met with one of the pit falls. He looked around himself, he had already sunk halfway through by the time he had realized what had happened. "Men. Watch out for pit holes!" he yelled as he tugged through the mud, only to end futility. Soon a rumble was heard from beneath the mud, bubbles beginning to float to the top of the pit as his body slowly twisted and pulled itself out of the mud. After a few seconds an audible growl was heard as he went flying up and through the mud, blotches falling off his armor as a blast of heat was erupted from his boots as he gently landed himself onto a more sturdy surface, brushing off chunks of mud.

The woman gently smirked in amusement at both of the dear leader of the group's mistakes. Putting a complete stranger in charge of his crew, and falling into his first mud hole. She simply walked past him, starting through larger tree clearings, and occasionally squeezing through spots that looked terribly uncomfortable and non-necessary. It would make for some unneeded struggle for those holding bigger items, or themselves a little bigger than needed for this expedition.

Her wooden sandals left neat marks in the dirt and mud as she made them with her own light weight, and at times they would even go right past a small pool of water without so much of a touch of notice. It wasn't terribly long, despite any screams and falls of those without equipment, the cries of those who may have lost loves ones or cared at all, that the hermit made it to a beautiful stream of water pouring out of a twisted figure of rotting trees, and a figure of natural rocks. There she adjusted her staff in front of her again, turning to look at the crowd after the nearly full mile journey of twists and turns.

As he swiped himself off he made note of how many men were left. They came with around sixty and in the short period of time had been cut down to fifty, each carrying a large keg and there small blaster. "Well. Come on, you heard the Hermit. Get a move on!" he yelled as he followed at the back, if anything tried to stalk them it would go for the one at the back. Which would make it be meet with a sharp surprise.

AS he trudged along he made note as to how he kept coming across Kegs of water, with no signs of any person ever being near it. Damn it. The more kegs we lose the less Booze I get. he though to himself as the group slowed down every occasion when they went through what looked to be unnecessary paths. Though soon his adventure was met with success as the sound of running water began to trickle nearby. After a few minutes he finally saw the clearing, his eyes darted about, fresh water normally meant animals living nearby. But snapped to looked around to the men with shock. They had been cut down from fifty to thirteen men in such a short journey. Though it was of little consequence.

"Well then! The rest of you start filling those kegs up with booze." he demanded as he took a seat by one of the formations as the men started to fill the kegs, breaths of terror as they looked around horrified as they came to the realization of how few people they had left.

The woman quietly stared at the men as they did their work, not very surprised herself at the poor survival skills the few loons had. Well, they were of course following a man with a dream of turning water into booze after all. Her gaze flickered at the sound of louder sploshes of water, where a very large sea creature began dashing through rapidly for a taste of the creatures that wanted to come near it.

"Don't kill that one," She warned the pirate and his quick crew. "I believe taking it semi-alive will provide you a few hours off of research when it comes to turning." She only said this noting the charateristics of it's uncontrolled sloshing about, as if a drunkard were to pretend swimming with a pair of fins and a large set of teeth that could well take off a finger.

Thraxis paused for a minute, a look of confusion awash as he looked at the beast."Research? I ain't no doctor." he retorted as he looked to the men with a nod quickly rushing out of the water with haste, it seemed there was a reason this lot hadn't died. They had been quick on their feet and even quicker to draw. A hail of lasers firing from their barrels, though in their state of panic most of the shoots missed.

All the while Thraxis relaxed on his nice rock formation, almost drifting asleep until one of the men started to run away. Separating from the party meant certain death and less booze to take back. Thraxis took a deep sigh as he slowly turned towards the beast, his body replaces as he withdrew one of his Pistols, taking cautious aim at one of its fins. After a few seconds a slug released its self out of the barrel, its metal projectile tearing off one of the smaller fins. If anything, it wasn't going to be swimming normally for the rest of its life.

She only gave a firm hum to the chaos that suddenly interrupted in the water. If they were all so lucky, it didn't have a family. She rested her eyes as she dug into her religious parts and found only a few things, nothing too much of interest. After moments had passed, she opened her eyes back up and watched the few finish up with their chores. Without so much of hesitation or warning, she whipped the staff from under herself and started back for the swamp.

"Well, if we're all done playing fill up the tea kettles, it's time to return before the larger game come out to get leftovers." She said in a casual tone, already squeezing herself through a simple two trees. At least if any people died on this journey, she could come back for their water and use it for herself, and only herself. Even if it didn't work.

It seemed that the noise and gun shot were enough to scare the beast off. It quickly subsided back into the water, fleeing form the battle as Thraxis counted the numbers. Only nine men were left and Thraxis was starting to realize he would need to either bring more men, or arm them better. But either option was costly and he had no intention of funding a lot of money on soldiers that had a high drop off rate.

The few men left picked up their barrels and followed the Hermit, looking around at whatever had been left. This had been quite a journey and had ended in a total bloodbath. Though Thraxis merely shrugged it off. "Yeah. Might as well start heading back. At this rate Imma only gonna have one keg of water left." he said as he eyed the men that were left, a look of shame and sadness had seeped into them as they trudged back with footsteps filled with failure.

The men were curiously flooding away as if they were pieces of paper in a storm - which is to say very quickly and unable to keep track of. The hermit rapidly made her way past the thick watery foliage of the evening Dagobah weather, soon arriving very accurately to the ship's point, or at least where it was when they left.

She had a small excited measure to herself, though she didn't very well express it but with a smile. "I do hope you all, you few enjoy what you have gotten today, and may there be great booze from whatever luxurious moments you have turning the natural waters of Dagobah." She gave a firm nod, then started off to her home without another word, making mental notes to come back and salvage the fifty packs of items and equipment and armor that were left behind.

"Yeah. This was a profitable day. Maybe. I dunno." he said as he looked to some of the men who were trudging themselves back onto the ship with the kegs. There heads low as they realized just how valueless they were for Thraxis to swipe aside the huge losses for something that would likely never even work.

"Anyway, for your help I do suppose I owe ya. Wait here for but a sec." he said as he wandered into his ship, taking a few minutes to rummage through the ship. After a few minutes he came down with a suitcase, inside holding a few thousand credits, at this rate he was slowly and surely making this the least profitable venture that he could have ever done."Here ya go. If I can get this into booze then I will be sure to drop down a few kegs of the stuff." he said with a slick smile as he presented the suitcase to the Hermit.
[member="Kiara"]

Materialistic things were useless at times! Of course she would take it. A faint grin spread across her lips as she reached out for the suitcase, both of the values to be made into something quite useful. She could in fact perhaps buy a new ship that she would never use in all of her time of living in the sentimentally lonely world of Dagobah. "The pleasure was all mine. I do wish you safe travels," She said with a small smirk, nodding once to the few men that had survived.

As she said her farewells, her mind wondered very slowly at the true value of the men's outfits, which may have seemed quite strange as she began to stare at some of the fit of the few, almost... checking him out if that was correct.

After a few seconds of making sure everyone was on board Thraxis followed in their stead. Scratching at the back of his head as he got one of the few who survived to start piloting. Though it seemed all the members who came with who could pilot were dead they dared not risk Thraxis flying the ship. He had a bad habit of crash landing for no reason other then because.

Soon the roar of the ship began, a light flickering at the rear as it coughed and sputtered for a few seconds, the atmosphere had done some damage but after a few tries the ship began to rancor like a mighty rancor, pulling itself up and into the atmosphere its metal hull slowly faded into the skies of Dagobah.
