SPECIAL FEATURES

  • Crew Club - Where officers and enlisted can come for a drink, play a few card games, listen to the scuttle butt and just relax after a hard day’s (or night’s) work.

  • Uprated Sickbay - A standard sickbay with the addition of a dental and counselling offices, allowing the crew time to maintain their oral and mental health.

  • Bridge - Where the commanding officer and his/her crew monitor control of the vessel, getting readings, summaries and up to date notifications on the ship’s positions. The bridge also serves as the combat centre where ship’s weapons and shields are fired and monitored.

  • Ready Room - Built inside the bridge, this is where the commanding officer goes to conduct paperwork and private meetings.

  • Stellar Cartography Labs - Unique to the Dagger-class, are the stellar cartography labs as the galaxy around us is ever changing, and the Dagger being as agile, as maneuverable and as mass produced as it is. It is able to maintain up to date records and charts of the stars around First Imperial Territory.

  • Astronomy Labs - A new addition to the Dagger Refit, the Astronomy Laboratory will be an offshoot lab connected to Stellar Cartography to enable them to conduct more in-depth studies.

  • Electronic Warfare CM/CCM Systems - In the new age of war, one must always be prepared for the electronic side of the battle, the Vindicator-class comes equipped to handle such aggressions and to unleash its own barrage of electronic warfare as well. The primary function of which is sensor jamming. An effort to blind enemy sensors by overwhelming them.

  • Crew Cabins - Six enlisted to a cabin, four junior officers to a cabin while the senior officers are assigned two to a cabin. Each cabin has its own built in latrine and shower.

  • Fitness Center - A small workout room with shower and lockers to enable crewmembers to keep up to date with their physical fitness.

  • Advanced Sensors and Targeting Systems - Unlike say the Vindicator which comes with standard sensors and targeting systems, the Dagger is able to track vessels a lot easier than her big sister. Advanced targeting is twice as effective as standard systems. Allowing the Dagger to find her foes faster than other vessels in the First Imperial Navy. The Dagger Refit has a fast tracking and targeting system now installed to enable her to better place her targets. Standard Turbolaser Range.

  • Security/Tactical Offices - Function much like offices aboard a Vindicator-class vessel, but due to the size of the Dagger the offices are often combined here. In addition they have a small force field holding area, and brig to keep the crew in check.

  • Armoury - Placed on various decks, this enables the crew to arm themselves in case of boarding.

  • Logistics Management - Their functionality is again much like that of the Vindicator only there is only one office aboard a Dagger-class and it is housed in Upper Engineering.

  • Upper/Lower Engineering - The bulk of the engines are housed in lower engineering, but the upper portion houses a lot of the software and electrical components of the engine systems. The Dagger was built from newer-aged designs as opposed to older models like that of the Vindicator. There are no offices for the Chief Engineer / Assistant Chief Engineer per say, but rather built in cubicles that function as offices for these senior/junior officers.

  • Standard Warship Hazard and Damage Control Systems

  • Advanced Warship Sensors and Targeting Systems

  • Standard Warship Communications Systems

  • Standard Warship Environmental Control Systems

  • Standard Warship Tractor / Pressor

Strengths:

  • [+] Focused Fire: Armed with the Bastion Combat System, in addition to her advanced sensors and targeting systems enable the Dagger II an improved rate of fire and a more accurate firing system.

  • [+] Increased Defences: Missile deactivation transmissions, chaffs, flares, anti-missile octets the Dagger II is now capable of defending against missiles something she hadn’t been able to do before.
Weaknesses:

  • [-] Dogfighter: While the Dagger II has been improved she is still unable to take on capital ships directly. Her role as an escort is just that, escort and deal with starfighters to enable the capital ships to do what they need to do.

  • [-] Instant Death: Even though the Dagger II’s defenses has been improved, she’s still vulnerable to wide area of effect attacks, and being overwhelmed by a tremendous amount of firepower.
Description:

The Levinson family of Talbot county were nowhere to be found when the Dagger went to refit. FADM. Fiolette Yvarro reached out to the Daughters of the Imperial Navy, who together with the Galactic Empire Historical Association and the Curavo Family of Brentaal IV have provided funding for the Dagger II. Curavo Shipyards of Ryoone was then elected as the main production yard for the ship, with Yalara’s Cloud City Imperial Shipworks and Coveway and Annaj’s CCIS yards.

Fiolette Yvarro also reached out to GADM. Cyrus Tregessar as she worked with the young Raleigh Montague on the refit. The Dagger II was dropped in her refit from mass production to minor and given the bonus of Tregessar’s Bastion Combat System. From her office on Victoria, FADM. Yvarro watched as Montague carried out her requests and orders, ensuring that the new Dagger designs were seen to properly.

Primo Victorian Shipwright maintained its presence and involvement once the Dagger II reached production. Working to scrap a quarter of the current Dagger I classes and use their materials in the reconstruction of Dagger IIs. The Daggers and the new Fortans shared the same hull compound and framework allowing for a more streamlined process of manufacturing.
