CONTENTS

Memories, reflections, personal accounts, and thoughts of each Baron / Baroness, covering their lifetime, are recorded here, including audio/visual records. Essentially it is a personal diary, nothing more or less; a summation of a life lived, lessons learned, experiences had, all meant to inform the next generation of the Barony.

The present collection includes datacrons for –
  • Haras Mazah, 1st Baron of Dagata
  • Shalya Mazah, 2nd Baroness of Dagata
  • Jayce T'shkali, 3rd Baron of Dagata
  • Moros T’shkali, 4th Baron of Dagata
  • Jorus T’shkali, 5th Baron of Dagata
  • Visanj T’shkali, 6th Baroness of Dagata (Unfinished)
DESCRIPTION

Thus far, five Baronial Datacrons have been made/completed. Visanj being the sixth, she maintains her own, making regular additions. An encryption key is used, which is DNA-based to ensure that only descendants of the Baron / Baroness can access the information contained in each of these, and passed from Baron to Baron upon succession.

Beginning with Haras Mazah, who imported his Captain’s Log from the Wayward Sun into one of these, every Baron in Dagata’s history has kept such a journal. Providing an incredible insight into each Baron’s personality and experience, these personal diaries are meant to inform each successive Baron and enable them to better serve their people. Extraordinarily detailed, in most cases, they often contain thoughts and reflections, giving intimate insight into each Baron’s personality and inward thoughts, opinions, and feelings. The collection of these, together with the key, are kept safe by each Baron through complex security and measures, becoming a treasured heirloom given to each generation.

STRENGTHS:
  • Exceptionally detailed personal journals provide considerable insight and information regarding each Baron's personality, life and experiences, meant to inform the next generations. A terrific record of family history and Baronial experience, covering more than eight and a half centuries. [Note: Shalya Mazah, 2nd Baroness, lived for over four centuries due to being a simulacrum/HRD before being killed during the earliest years of the Gulag Plague in 426 ABY]
  • Encryption ensures that only the present Baron can access the information contained here.
WEAKNESSES:
  • Datacrons can only be accessed using a DNA-coded encryption key. If lost or destroyed, the entire collection would be rendered useless.
  • These are diaries, not textbooks, and therefore only serve to inspire and inform the current Baron or Baroness, not to instruct them on how to deal with a specific issue or situation. Every Baron or Baroness can choose to consult them, but interpretation of their contents and what lessons may be derived is entirely subjective.
