Corporate Calls - following this

ARCENEAU TRADE COMPANY
HEADQUARTERS - Tatooine

"Alright gentlemen, I hope you both enjoyed your dinner," Danger would purr out from the head of polished body wood table. They were now in her office, seated around a holoarray that would provide the venue of displaying the information all three of them had on Czerka Corp.

"As my momma always said, best not tarry what one can get done. " without further ado, the woman would flick on the holoarray, detailing information on Czerka.

"Czerka is not just one entity, but an umbrella corporation with other subsidiaries, most notable being Czerka Mining and Industrial." Czerka's logo would flare up along with a map of the galaxy.

"Primarily a droids and arms corporation, [member="Tyri Lsu"] had expanded it's production and manufacturing to other facets." She would glance over at Jared.

"Mistah Ovmar, would you care to elaborate?"

Ovmar nodded in reply, there was a lot to say about Czerka and even more to earn by the coming storm. Had to do it right though, had to make sure everything was clear and under control.

Aye, thank you. Czerka’s got fingers in a lot of proverbial pies. Since time immemorial they dabbled in merc contracts, smuggling, slavery and other ventures. Gotta add though, the missing CEO wasn’t much interested in this occupations - tried to steer the company more into the legitimate waters. It’s still there though, ain’t as pronounced as it was in the past… but ya can’t change a Krait Dragon’s true colors.

He waved his hand at that and continued.

Any questions so far?

And where were the spiders
There was a lot of work here, but a company that was losing itself? That wasn’t going to do for the Technate. Marek was wanting to see these facilities used full-bore. And that was why he was here with [member="Danger Arceneau"] and [member="Jared Ovmar"]. He really should keep up to date with the older companies in the Union, but, who had time for all that?

“Yeah, hard to break free of everything.” He was remembering the SNAFU at Druckenwell, they were still fixing that. “So, if we break up Czerka, y’all be working to help the System Authority with contracts, and not hitting our ops with mercs, right?”

Granted the mercenaries would be going after ATC anyhow and that… not the best idea.

[member="Jared Ovmar"] [member="Marek Starchaser"]

"ATC would be aiming for the droids, arms, and shipbuilding production factories and facilities. I can guarantee that we would be more than happy to continue fulfilling the slack that Tyri Lsu let follow in the wake of his disappearance."

"Mistah Ovmar has more of a taste for the mercenary, mining, and more dubious contracts. He would be able to answer more about that."

Corey's OOC

And where were the spiders
"Well, we already work well with ATC, as a government." Marek nodded, that would just be extending a contract. Simple enough. And he knew he could trust [member="Danger Arceneau"]. As for Jared?

"I am sure that we can probably work something out to buy ore and resources... And with the mercenaries, i've got another place for them to go." Bright Star. But [member="Jared Ovmar"] knew that.

[member="Marek Starchaser"] [member="Jared Ovmar"]

"I'm sure Mistah Ovmar would be more than glad to elaborate on just what those mercenaries can do," Danger would say with a smile, moving onto the next batch of information. However, she would pause in the event Jared had something to add.

That he did.

‘Say one thing ‘bout Czerka, say they know their chit on Mercs. They protect all of Czerka’s facilities - headquarters and offworld - specialists and simple grunts, but each has their own merit. ‘Course you can’t go compare them to something like… I don’t know the Sun Guard, as I hear it Ardik has that venture locked down pretty neatly.’

‘That said. They got squads trained in everything you might need, infantry, fighters, got a few lightsabers too if I hear right. Point is, you tell me where you need ‘em and I will make sure that our ventures are secured.’

‘Security and stability, foundations of a profitable future, wouldn’t you say?’

Ovmar lit up a cigar at the end of that and offered both of ‘em a piece.

There was a lot going on here. And Marek was more than willing to run this. As one of the secret leaders of the Abrion Sector, and an Inner Circle member of Tion, he had a lot going for him. Turning and listening to his brother in business (arms), he nodded. Everyone had heard the history for the company, well those who knew a little about it.

Marek nodded. “We could definitely use some of those around Bright Star, simple mercs, enough to keep the military pressure off our liners. Abrion is going droid, but I don’t want to connect them to Bright Star. Seems Czerka could be used to cover Tion assets as well?”

Seemed to work. “I’m game to make the move on Czerka whenever everyone is ready. I can make sure that the facilities droids go down, but that only Technate military, not the innate Czerka defenses…” And Marek didn’t know anything about them, he waggled his hand. “And I don’t have that on a list.”

"Well .. let's go over Czerka's current locations, " Danger would say, as she would bring up the next holoimage.

"The main corporation is spread across the following locations with the main headquarters being on Korriban....

  • Korriban
  • Tatooine
  • Trandosha
  • Taris
  • Dantooine
  • Mutanda
  • Kalee

Where as Czerka Mining and shipyards in itself are... headquartered in Kalee, where the main offices of Czerka Mining and Industrial can be found, upon which sales and custom orders can be made. Tatooine and Dantooine are both home to mining facilities, with Dantooine also home to a refining facility. Tatooine also houses the main production facilities for Czerka Mining and Industrial. "

She'd give a pause then look over the gentlemen.

"And this isn't a takeover of Czerka through physical means -- " she brought up the stock value of Czerka, showing how horribly low it was. "But through legal financial purchase of the company in itself. We can purchase among all three of us the majority rights, then legally ---- we can conduct a briefing to discuss a streamlining of business management processes and making czerka efficient...

Even if it means separating it into three distinct companies. I am willing to stick to the label of "czerka" under ATC ... but you two are more than welcomed to rename your shares of the new LLC's to whatever you wish. "

“Wouldn’t suggest that, love. Czerka ain’t exactly a home brand-name, even with all the efforts it’s still a heavy baggage name with some PR problems. Wouldn’t be advisable to clearly link that to your business. Grown-woman though, if you think it’s what best.’

Didn’t finish the sentence, didn’t need to. If Arceneau thought it was a good move, I ain’t gonna try and stop her from it, honestly it ain’t even my problem in the grand scheme of things. ‘Slong as I get my wares, I am a happy man.

Taking another sip of his drink, he was listening to Danger go on. The map made him nod. Right, lots of places around the galaxy for Czerka. They had a reach of the galaxy. That was something. He could use that, get his facilities out, give more casinos out and about. Rubbing his chin, he was taking note of where things were in relation to his space.

Who put him in charge of a faction? That was crazy talk.

Talking economics was important. Marek nodded at that. “Yeah, they’d been collapsing since… really as long as I’ve been in office as the Foreman. We can lead the company’s assets back up to what it could be, had it been done right. Czerka carries a strong name, depending on what contracts we take. Still, I’ll do what the concesus thinks is best, y’all are the producers, after all.” People would drink just about anywhere.

"Well, we still have time to discuss and plan things out. For now -- are we agreed to the buy out? If so we can start having our financial accountants take care of purchasing stock within the hour.

There after, once we own the rights, we can get access to their books and get a real idea of where the company is at."

‘Agreed, this is too good an opportunity to simply pass off, after we purchase the stock we will have a more extensive research conducted to see what kind of problems we are actually buying.’

‘Will also be the time to make final arrangements on the possible separation, but that’s for another time.’

Marek nodded as he took another sip. "I'm all for the buy out. Get the books, see what we're dealing with. Put our people in charge, and figure if we can use the name still, or re-brand." He looked between the two gathered. "Let's do it."

"Then we go this at full haste." Danger said, and as she promised so started the immense buyout of stock for Czerka Corporation. With how it had floundered in the wake of Blastech's gutting of their most popular arms and with the disappearance of the CEO, they were able to afford a mass purchase among the three of them.

Until finally, Czerka Corporation and it's subsidiaries were now bought and accounted for lock, stock, and barrel.

A pleased grin would go curving across Danger's face as she would raise her glass of whiskey high.

"Well gentlemen... congratulations."

Buying out a falling company. This was what Marek Starchaser felt was the best bit about his position in the galaxy. The Abrion Sector worked hard to make sure that the galaxy and the corporations were working hard. Weeding out the dying ones? That was the best way to keep it effective. He made a few moves on his datapad to make sure that his financers were taking over the company. He'd have to make sure that the contracts were handled.

"A pleasure doing business, as always. I'll transfer data about the contracts presently."

Right, he needed to have Alana do that.

[member="Marek Starchaser"]

"Good." Danger would walk over to her desk and bring up the information she'd been working on for what was to come. Arceneau Trade already had a market of armormech, armstech, and droids. The Industry early on in the Outer Rim and Wild Regions demanded her to have those as her focus.

Currently she already had production and manufacturing facilities on Tatooine and Geonosis -- with the absorption of Czerka Arms and Czerka Shipyards, she was looking at expanding that. Or more aptly, consolidating.

For now, she took their advice and decided to dump using the Czerka label. Instead she will be creating two distinct subsidiaries: One will be Haven Shipyards, which will deal with transports and freighters. The other will be Browncoat Arms & Industrial, which will consolidate Czerka arms and droid production along with the current armormech, armstech, and droid manufacturing that Arceneau already had.

This would certainly streamline the business process, and while she would loose money ( the company was going from a tier 5 to a tier 3 and 2 respectfully) in the long run, she would gain it.

Instead of spending most of his own money on buying his portion of the Czerka stock the Sith Lord decided to unload the stock he had acquired on RRDI during the heist on Verd’s castle. A million stock pieces dumped on the market, cash in and then use that money and a portion from other sources to buy his portion of Czerka.

Good times.

He would consolidate the merc, mining and smuggling portions into two single divisions, well maybe one if he could work it out neat and proper.

Good.’ he echoed.

Heil.

All the while, Danger was also going through her stocks, having collected quite a bit of stocks from several companies. One in particular was RRDI. After much thought, she too sold her stocks to gain money for this new venture in her subsidiaries with Browncoat Arms & Industrial and Haven Shipyards.

The extra funds would do her good plus give the new ventures more cashflow.
