Description:
The Cutter Marauder is a fairly straightforward assault vessel. The Maruader Corvette of old was typically found in one of two varieties, a missile ship or a laser cannon corvette. Zenva has never been one to settle for one nice gun when you can have all of them. To this she set out to reforge the Marauder into a weapon worthy of the modern age.

Gone are the missile tubes of old, instead the heavy M.A.R.C. 1 rail cannon has been introduced. These big guns pack a mean one-two punch, and are intended to batter enemy shields in short order. While they are capable of firing simultaneously it is often wiser to have a three second delay between each one firing. In part this is to help maintain accurate firing as the Cutter must carefully align each shot. Alternatively, when these guns are joining by the fixed forward Turbo-Lasers you may find the enemy shield is down before your next heavyweight slug is needed.

The Cutter boasts a fair amount of other Turbo-Laser banks, ensuring that the vessel is capable of engaging multiple enemies as the need arises. There are several anti-fighter cannons in place but they few and far between, leaving the Cutter susceptible to organized groups of fighters or bombers.

The Cutter is supported by a squadron of Pack Master bombers. Once the Corvette knocks down an enemy's shield these heavily armed bombers are sure to make quick work of key systems. In addition to these bombers is a sole H-SDV1, this heavily armored dropship can move large groups of soldiers in a hurry with little concern. With eighty (80) soldiers on board the Cutter, boarding missions are well within this vessel's capacity.

This is a solid submission! Always loved the marauders. At the moment this is packing a very heavy punch, has a full squadron, and is around the too speed for a corvette. Do you think you could slow it down some, or add some additional weaknesses for balance please?

They are supposed to be fast attack ships which has me hesitant to reduce the speed. The squadron count is normal for it's size. Granted the squadron it's carrying is nice (a lil ego stroke lol).

Alternately, how does this look?

So just to clarify:

"The higher your squadron count, the lower your Armament and number of Special Features should be. This submission's Max Squadron Count: 1. "

So it's expected that of you have maximum squadron, you sacrifice Armaments. Given your lack of ordnance and your new weakness I think you've now found balance, thank you.

Pending approval.
