It doesn’t display any personal customization or flair, being stock-standard compared to what historic records describe when pertaining to the Clone Troopers of the GAR.

INVENTORY

PERSONALITY AND BELIEFS

Jah possesses a lot of traits you would've seen in clones of his position. Leadership, courage, level-headedness, loyalty, etc. What makes him stand out in comparison to the rest is his apathetic attitude to most others, especially those under his command. He doesn’t mind losing others if it means accomplishing a goal, but it does depend on the significance of the task. He doesn’t hold many of the same values that others like him do, avoiding a lot of the Mandalorian culture which was imparted onto many ARCs, although he did like the Dha Werda Verda, which he believed to be very effective in ensuring team comradery and cohesion. He isn’t fond of Jedi either, given a few bad experiences early in the Clone Wars. The two things about him that anyone would praise are his commitment to discipline, and his tactical knowledge.

ATTRIBUTES & FLAWS

Stealth Operative - Jah is trained and proficient in stealth operations, and most matters that are covert. Infiltration is his specialty, and silence is his middle name.

Resilient Mind - His self image of wartime property and cold attitude has been able to shield his mind from a lot of the psychological aspects of combat. To a limited degree, he lacks fear.

Squad Tactics - He doesn’t see the value in large battalions but in small specially trained units. He knows how to make the gifted shine and how to bounce skills off of each other.

No Cost Too Great - 1271 has a streak of losing soldiers under him. He doesn’t care if he has to lose people to win a battle, and will opt for it if a success is probable. In his eyes, some sacrifices are worth it.

Expendable - Jah has trouble seeing himself as a person, more like war equipment. This can lead to him being reckless, applying the same logic he does to his subordinates to himself.

Force Fearing - While this CT may not understand the Force, he does know it is worthy of fear and dangerous, and those who wield it even more so. He distrusts Force-Wielders, paranoid of their intentions.

HISTORY

Clone Wars Era Historical Records

The Clone Wars saw the birth of heroes throughout the galaxy, and while many of the clones that were created died unnamed and unmourned in battle there were the lucky few which would distinguish themselves through service and earn a true place in the time period’s history. Those brave soldiers which take their rightful place in the minds of anyone who thinks back to that mythical place in history, before the rise and eventually fall of the Empire. The Clone Wars was a time of heroes, names that are etched in history. CT-1271 was not one of those clones.

It is unknown which Jedi general he served under, but many speculate he served in the 21st Nova Corps. What is known is that he would eventually be placed in the ARC Trooper Program. We also know he held nothing but contempt for his Jedi, given the general’s blatant disregard for clone lives. A hypocritical opinion, given 1271’s own disregard for his brothers’ lives but it still irked him. According to reports of his squadmates, who only exist as testimonies, he was quoted saying that the Jedi ‘Didn’t have the right.’ Oddly enough, it’s also up to a lot of speculation as to how 1271 was placed in the ARC Trooper Program, only that it happened sometime between the Battle of Christophsis and the Battle of Mimban. One report tells that a CT was placed into the program during that time for, quote; “The daring reconditioning of a commando deserter.”

‘Jah’ derives from the Mando’a word Jahaal which means health. An ironic moniker taken up by CT-1271 after he graduated from the program. After the end of Jah’s training, he wasn’t placed back into a major unit, but became a Kamino Security. His role on Kamino was unusual to most, but his tasks weren’t limited to safe-guarding the planet. He and teams of other very trusted clones were often sent on ‘reconditioning’ or ‘reclamation’ missions. Although there are a few listed as standard assault ops. During most of these missions Jah and co. would frequently work in conjunctions with Covert Operation Clone Troopers. While it is entirely undisclosed what these missions sought to achieve it is believed by those who’ve been able to slice into these ancient and classified documents that ARC Trooper Jah’s primary role was to eliminate or capture renegade clones.

Like a lot of the information known on Jah, it also isn’t entirely clear what happened to him. Records show that he disappeared halfway through the Clone Wars. He doesn’t appear in any old imperial records, so he wasn’t active during the era of Sidious’ Galactic Empire. What some Enthusiastic historians have discovered the last recorded mission Jah was sent on, labeled ‘recondition’, to the planet Saleucami. However a return date was never labeled. The mission file also included a distress transmission, sent by the pilot carrier ship.
‘Ops down, squad captain in stasis, the objective knew we were coming-kzzt-engines damaged-kzzt-emerg-kzzt-coming in fast-kzzt.”
