Designation: Clone Trooper 00001
Nickname: Carbon
Accelerated Age: 21
Height: 6' 1''
Weight: 236 lbs
Force Sensitivity: Force-Dead
Eye Color: Black
Hair Color: Brown
Skin: Tanned
Strengths and Weaknesses:
+ Peerless Soldier: The genetic clone of the last Lord Protector, he not only inherits a considerably martial pedigree, but has also been trained, directly, by his hand.
+ General: As the de-facto head of 10,000 similar soldiers, he has been given the training necessary to succeed as both strategist and tactician.
- Fear of Heights: Doesn't get more clear than that.
- Warrior First and Only: He has exactly no social skills. When conversation is seen as another form of combat, weapons will get drawn. Diplomacy? Only down the barrel of a blaster he's holding.
- Independence: He often takes after Sarge a little too much. Every leash is long when you break it.
Biography:
Carbon was the first product of a union between former enemies. [member="Darth Metus"] and [member="Sarge Potteiger"] met after the dissolution of both the original Confederacy and the Omega Protectorate. Realizing that the Outer Rim could descend quite quickly into lawlessness, Sarge agreed to give his genetic material to the Darth to create a clone army of one of the most decorated soldiers the Rim had ever seen. The catch was, he would oversee their training, but this was hardly unforeseen, and most assuredly worked into the hands of the Confederacy.
The first to be born, Carbon was immediately greeted by the man the clones would come to know as the Primogenitor. The first to be taken under his wing, he was given unprecedented access to classified materials. With access to every AAR he'd ever filed, the footage from his helmet cameras, and the ability to question the man behind the gun, Carbon had a wellspring of information to draw upon - and he did so, quite readily. By the time the other clones were born, he was already on his way to becoming the sort of solo operator that the Primogenitor had been. Now came the task of turning his young mind to that of a leader, rather than a weapon.
Through simulation, live fire, and real combat, Carbon was put through the wringer in what it took not just to lead a squad, but an army. While there were many growing pains, some literal and some figurative, he learned as all soldiers have learned - through survival and muscle memory. Equipped with the standard Clone armor of the Dauntless, it wasn't until the Dauntless themselves were unveiled in their entirety that the Primogenitors last gift was to be given to his First Son and those he lead; access to his own armory.
Over nearly 500 years of war, Sarge had amassed a personal collection of weapons, armor, uniforms and more, and when the proverbial vault was opened, Carbon did as his forefather before him had done; he chose something unique, made it his own, and then returned to impress that Independence upon his brothers. Now distanced from many of the other Dauntless in form, though not function, his transformation was complete, and Sarge signed off on his being moved to active duty. Truly, the Confederacy had been given a carbon copy of their once hated enemy.
