DESCRIPTION
The CS Micro Analyzer takes a handful of individual sensors and scanners and combines them into one portable, compact device for ease of use in the field. This analyzer is intended to be used by travelers or those who often explore dangerous worlds or unknown territory. The Micro Analyzer has 4 different modes:

• Life: Provides information on the structure and nature of life forms including various stats such as heart rate, respiratory byproducts and biological signature.
• Substance: Provides information on the structure of food, chemicals and drugs. Often used to detect poisons or other uncertainties in a substance, such as bacterial contamination.
• Lab: Provides information of biological substances (blood, tissue, etc.) as a sort of portable medical lab.
• Nature: Provides information on the content of soil, water and atmospheric conditions.

All modes on the Micro Analyzer can be easily cycled through. The Micro Analyzer itself has several sample ports and scanners in order to accurately get a read on whatever substance it is analyzing. While the Micro Analyzer has a large library of catalogued substances that can be updated via syncing with the holonet, some very rare materials may elude its capabilities. When the Micro Analyzer is unable to properly identify a sample, it will throw off an error message. If it is able to partially identify a sample—some, but not all components that make it up—it will report out only what it knows and caution that the substance is of unknown significance.

All Micro Analyzer reports provide a broken down list of each sample component and can be saved on the device or uploaded to another device or type of storage. The Micro Analyzer can be used as a handheld device or installed on droids, ships and vehicles. This device can operate for ~20 hours when fully charged, though cycling through different modes will add a little extra strain on the battery.
