Winter on Bakura. Snow, trees, frozen lakes and streams. And with the sun shining it was a perfect day. Kay drank her tea in the safety of a state-of-the-art cubic cabin located in the trees. As it was mirrored, the cabin was virtually invisible and shielded. The two-way mirror allowed her the ability to see outside without the use of cameras or having to step out onto the deck. It was the perfect get-away in the snow she was told. And she needed to get away.

Kay sipped her tea and thought back on the latest meetings in the Senate. Some members wanted the Jedi to be held in check more, almost controlled. But she didn't want that. It didn't bode well for her and some of her friends. Her anti-slavery efforts were still continuing, though she was spending less time handling it personally. The bounties were still on her head for that and there had been quite a few attempts to capture her already. But there was no way that she was going to allow herself to be tricked into being held in Hutt Cartel custody again. That last time was bad enough.....

Bakura, a world Maxerian had yet to step foot upon. From what he heard it was a nice little planet in the Bakura system. Normally he wouldn't of been visiting such a place but as it turned out he did have a reason for heading into such a humble little system. He was tracking a mark, or a bounty to say a Miss Kay. Maxerian didn't know what this woman had done to get such a bounty on her head and he didn't care. Though it did interest him at times about how people got varies bounties on their head, he had learned it was best not to worry to much about it as it could influence the job. In the Mustafarian's head all he needed to know currently was the location and the target. She was wanted dead or alive, either of which Maxerian was glad to oblige to.

Maxerian's ship, the Intrigue, Began lowering onto the planet, it's solar sails flourishing greatly as the ship entered the planet's atmosphere. As his ship maneuvered its way through the planet it finally found its way to a small spaceport. The solar sails began to retract as the landing legs popped from the bottom of the ship and finally the ship had found itself planted on the ground. As Maxerian jumped out of his ship he was approached by a human. "Sir the docking fee for this port is 50 credits." Maxerian staired up at the man for a moment before grunting, and reaching through his bag pulling out the necessary credits. He wasn't ready to get into a fight with the local system's government over something as simple as a docking space.

Now that he was finally on the planet he began asking around about his mark it was a few hours before he finally got a lead, and he was surprised to hear it was someplace away from the port itself. Maxerian checked to make sure his weapons were fully loaded before setting off into a snow filled forest. Snow was not a thing Maxerian was a fan of. The Mustafarian came from a world where such a thing didn't even exist, and the mere idea of coldness would be laughed at. Mustafar really wasn't known for its winters. Still Maxerian pressed forward, his blaster pistol at his side, as well as two smaller hidden blasters which were hidden on his body in case of an emergency of course.

Maxerian looked around through the forest as he passed unremarkable trees and such. It wasn't until he could of sworn he saw something akin to glare in the distance. Perhaps that was the Lady Kay, perhaps just sun glare off of the snow. Either way Maxerian proceeded in that direction trudging through the snow to find his mark.

Peace, quiet and solitude. Topped with her tea, nothing was better. Inside of the cubed cabin Kay read one of her favourite stories. It was a fantasy story full of adventure and mysterious creatures, a possible end to a world that was reversed by a successful quest of a rag tag group of heroes that would otherwise had never met. It was a story that one could get lost in. And at this moment in time, she was one of those people.

Having large bounties on her head did teach her to at least be a bit cautious. And so she chose this particular cabin. Almost invisible to the naked eye and binoculars, [member="Maxerian Gron"] and others might not even find it until they were almost underneath it. As Kay hadn't ventured out before the latest snowfall, there were no tracks to follow except for those left by local wildlife. The shields gave the cabin protection from blaster fire and other sources of heat. And there was plenty of food and water to wait out any kind of storm.

Of course at this time of year, Kay wasn't expecting any kind of trouble....

((OOC: No worries. I've been busy myself :) ))
