Intent: A form of transportation that is resistant to Lightsabers / Blasters
Development Thread:

Manufacturer: Anax Arms
Model: N/A
Affiliation: Open Market
Modularity: Yes: Users can store items ranging from foodstuffs to weaponry inside them.
Production:
Minor

Material: Cortosis
Classification: Anti-Blaster, Anti-Ballistic, Anti-Lightsaber
Weight: 3kg
Quality: 4
Special Features: The conductive properties of Cortosis make these crates resistant to Blaster fire and Lightsabers. In the case of the latter, it is possible for a Lightsaber to short circuit and deactivate for several minutes, if it were to make contact with these crates.

Description: In return for two hundred thousand credits (200,000cr), Alicia Drey agreed to sell 40g of Cortosis from her Cortosis mine on Obredaan. Three out of the five customers, who were supposed to come to Obredaan in order to deliver their payment in return for their ore, did not turn up to collect, leaving Alicia with 120kg of excess Cortosis. After the transaction with Gray Raxis and Valashu was complete, Alicia was left with a predicament as to what she would do with her excess ore. She decided that she would use it with the subsidiary of Chandrila DataTech: Anax Arms.

Converting her excess ore into transportable crates, Alicia placed them on the open market for customers to buy and use in the transportation of varying items, ranging from foodstuffs to weaponry. Whilst these crates will offer fantastic protection against Blaster fire or Lightsabers, with the conductive and energy resistant properties of Cortosis working against either types of weaponry, they were vulnerable to being prized open, with the weakest point being it's locking mechanism. A latch can be locked together with your standard metal lock, which can shot off by a well placed blaster shot or easily cut off by the plasma beam of a Lightsaber.

These crates do not come with a refrigerator, meaning that foodstuffs left inside- particularly in hot climates- are likely to go off within a day or two. They also become heavy to carry, depending on how much kilograms are added to it via the items it is meant to be keeping safe from outside influences, particularly when weaponry- such as blaster rifles, pistols or carbines- are stored inside. They are built and manufactured by Anax Armshttp://starwarsrp.net/topic/51038-anax-arms/http://starwarsrp.net/topic/51038-anax-arms/.
