BIOGRAPHY:
Corrax grew up in a wealthy family, a child of fortune. He had a good life with a well-developed support network of extended family. As a teenager he was incredibly mischievous, often finding himself in way over his head. However, his parents, who were very important on his home planet of Cassander, constantly bailed him out. At the age of 16, he discovered that his parents' wealth was achieved through the exploitation of Cassander's citizenry, and that they were highly involved in a government corruption scandal. His parents had business dealings with just about every terrible organization one can imagine, and Corrax - despite his care-free nature - made clear that he wanted no part of their lives. After secretly working for months to expose the corruption and give justice to the people of Cassander, his efforts were discovered and he was forced to flee the planet as his own parents made an attempt on his life. Taking what little he had stashed away, he found passage off planet and eventually landed on Abregado-rae. After living there for over a year, he was able to join the Abregado-rae Defense Force at the age of 17. All cadets on Abregado-rae go though the same initial training before being sorted into the area that they show the most aptitude toward. As such, Corrax has some level of training in everything from hand-to-hand combat to explosive ordinances. After the two year initial training academy was complete, Corrax was specialized as a pilot and attended a one year flight school training program where he emerged at the top of his class.
Corrax served for one year in the A-rDF, working his way up to squadron leader for one of A-rDF's forward defense bases, the furthest one from the planet. There he served under a corrupt officer. Due to Corrax' history, the two did not get along at all. After a series of confrontations, the officer orchestrated a monumental training accident in which two pilots serving in Corrax' squadron were killed. The officer then falsified reports showing that Corrax as at fault, even claiming that he had been intoxicated during the mission. Knowing that he would be court-marshalled based on the false reports, Corrax fled the A-rDF in a stolen fighter. He used that fighter to join with a mercenary defense group, flying escort for cargo haulers. He held that gig for a year before his squadron was knocked out by pirates in what turned out to be a massive insurance scam. Held by the pirates, Corrax was sold as a slave to a Hutt crime syndicate where he piloted a space yacht for another year before he managed to escape yet again.
Corrax then found work as a cargo hauler, using what money he had in order to purchase a beat up freighter. Picking up odd-jobs here and there, he worked hard to make ends meet until he was swept into a contract from the Commonwealth, where he found a place for himself and became a part of their military structure. During this time, he became CAG on board the CRN Surprise, overseeing all flight operations off the ship as well as the creation of several experimental vessels for the Commonwealth. His time there was short-lived, however, as his fighter was shot down over the planet Thule during an attempt by the Commonwealth to aid the Silver Jedi Order in a battle against Darth Carnifex' Sith Order.
Corrax was presumed dead during the battle, and shortly thereafter the Commonwealth was dissolved.
