SPECIAL FEATURES
Sprays nebular gas behind the vessel using the engine
Strengths:
· Countermeasure to prevent hyperspace jumps

Weaknesses:
· Works for a limited time, as the nature of gas in space will now allow it to remain
· Adds additional gas reserve to a vessel, creating a new and fun way to blow up vessels

DESCRIPTION
Working through the galaxy as an explorer and wanderer, the Starchaser family come across many different scenarios, add in their friends and colleagues, including the Merrills. This creates a wealth of information about the galaxy, hyperspace paths, and most importantly to this new engine model, the structures in the galaxy. The SE-174 Scrambler Countermeasure harnesses gas collected from nebulas around the galaxy, with a focus on the Utegetu Nebula. This gas is then synthesized and used as an substance to be released behind a vessel.

Working in the same way as afterburners or chaff, the gas is released from an additional exhaust port in the engine mounts. This allows for the pilot to be able to fill an area of space with the gas. This gas will prevent hyperspace jumps without a gravity well, and will cause ships to be pulled from hyperspace away from the battle zone.

This system works best on either ships with very large reserve for the extra tanks, or a squadron of fast moving ships to expand and spread the gas around an area. Of course, the gas can only be spread around a limited area, and is only effective for a set amount of time before the dispersion renders the action inert.
