Converting a Sith Ally

'A brief breath of peace in a time of war, is worth all the credits in the system to those who fight...'
Orphen hadn't known that the capital of the Republic had changed once again as the battle lines drawn by the ongoing conflict had changed, not wanting to travel to the capitol there had once been on New Alderaan, Orphen had chosen Chazwa, only to find that it was indeed the current capitol. Rolling his eyes, thinking it was a little late to change his destination now, he came to the conclusion that he didn't care about where they landed, the Jedi would be present here and it was the Jedi Order whom they were here to see, and live with until such a time that Kitty decided to leave, or stay... From this distance the planet looked like a wonderful mesh of blue and green, the fertile, though colder than normal world would be pleasing to Orphen's eyes, as, for the first time in a long time, while in the ship with Kitty, he felt comfortable enough to remove his visor, allowing her to see his four coloured eyes.

Hopefully this went well.

Not being able to speak for Kitty though, having had to drop out of hyperspace upon their ship, the daughter of the Sith Lord would likely be held up ion her cage, due to experiencing the stress of hyperspace as well as the cramped local... Integrating Alpha in through the ship's wire-less systems over the course of the flight, Orphen allowed his AI to pilot them down to the planet's surface and handle any landing codes that he would need to deliver as they careened down for one of the space ports. Orphen deciding to take the time to move into the central hold with Kittie's cage, and throw her a steak that was easily the size of his own head.

"Landing team, this is alpha, personal A.I. of Jedi Padawan Orphen Han Sathariel, serial code 2448379485. Requesting permission to land and carrying political cargo." - The Droid began in the background as he and the landing crew began a conversation about the nature of the visit, not once saying the word 'Sith' unless they absolutely had to. Instead, the A.I. described Kitty as royalty from felecat, a VIP looking at staying with the republic as a possibility for future exploits... a message which was surely forwarded to the Jedi.

Time passed, and upon landing Orphen would wait that amount of time for Kitty to return to her human form, or at least return to her more sapient self.

"So, here we are, this is Republic Space, I've had to radio ahead about who I'm bringing with me, I just told them who your parents were so we should not be met with too much resistance, I'll let you disclose whatever information you want about yourself, dad and all. But I can assure you, people here are pretty supportive, I doubt they'd light you up, and even if they wanted to, not even the Grandmaster could get through my machines."

Orphen boasted, laughing a little as he scratched the back of his head, placing his visor back across his eyes to hide them from the world as the ramp would slowly lower.

Kitty

The Attention Seeker
To say Kitty was nervous was an understatement. She was terrified. She normally didn't even sleep without her lightsabers next to her and now she was suppose to go through an extended period of time without them. On top of all that she was going to be more than neck deep in enemy territory. If the sith found out she would be so screwed. Kitty found herself forgetting why she agreed to go in the first place. Luckly these worries would be taken from her as the stress of hyperspace would turn her into a rage monster. Her special cage would keep her from killing anyone till she could come back to her senses once the hell of hyperspace was over.

As she came back to her senses she recalled enjoying a nice steak instead of clawing at the cage bars for a moment. After spending some time relaxing Kitty reverted to her normal form and left her cage. As they were already landed Kitty hadn't had the chance to see what the planet was like yet. The worries of her situation also began resurfacing and before she knew it she was Orphen was debriefing her as the ramp lowered. Thankfully she was semi prepared. Kitty had spent a lot of time practicing shrinking her force presence down to that of someone who wouldn't be considered force sensitive and keeping it there till it was an unconscious effort. Orphen still had no idea that Kitty herself was a trained Sith assassin and she still planned on keeping that a secret. Wouldn't do her any good if the jedi here could sense her power with the dark side right out of the gate. Art of the small was one of the perks to being the daughter and apprentice of the sith assassin's leader though. Kitty just took in a deep breath and tried to brace for whatever she was about to experience.

Jedi Knight Karen Roberts of Lothal stood at the end of the landing pad to [member="Orphen"] and [member="Kitty"] s arrival. She was accompanied by Republic Secretary Ron Smiles. A member of the New Delegations Committee and the man assigned to supervise Kittys stay. He was a short man in his forties, of good build, and carrying around a graying beard. He was an expert writer and mathematician but, despite his name, rarely smiled. An expert politician too. Just the thing to welcome a new VIP to the planet.

Knight Roberts held up her chin and placed her hands behind her back. Businesslike as always. She was garbed in a gray armored spacesuit and cloaked in a brown shawl. Of the pair she remained to play 'The Heavy'. Half-monk, half-hitman. Acting both as the Secretary's guard and as Kittys. At least, for today anyway.

"What can you sense Master Jedi." Smiles asked with a bored sigh.

"I sense three presences. An adept, a shapechanger, and an AI. Mm. I suppose we may have to converse with all of them at some point."

"Interesting. Should we have brought a protocol droid to greet the AI?"

"No. It appears to hold the ship. So, I doubt it needs a new boyfriend."

Ron gave Karen a raise of the brow for that comment. Good heavens. Jedi were so strange some times. Oh bother. He sighed again and straightened his jacket. Together they remained standing like pleasant statues at the end of the runway. Waiting for Kitty and Orphen to make introductions.

The masked padawan had just left the ramp from the platform his ship was docked on. A brief discussion with his astromech, left the padawan grumbling to himself as he walked with purpose down the path. His mutterings about pieces and parts the droid had complained about needing was interrupted though, as he felt a vaguely familiar Force presence. He'd quickly divert his path of travel, walking up behind a female Jedi ([member="Karen Roberts"]), judging by her presence, and a very official looking man.

Clearing his throat, and giving a prompt, polite bow when she'd eventually turn. "Greetings Master. Padawan Ryn'Dhal of the Silver Sanctum. I pray you'll forgive my intrusion. I suspect I may have allowed my curiosity to get the best of me when I sensed a familiar presence aboard that ship. May I have your permission to accompany you in greeting them?" His voice, even if slightly distorted by the mask he wore, was soft and melodic, holding a very soothing quality. His golden eyes were all that were visible, ever last inch of his being covered by mask, leather, or cloak. He seemed to have a strange furred belt, but beyond that it seemed to be very standard Sasori robes he wore, twin sabers visible beneath his cloak at each hip.

He'd await her approval, or her reproach, and would react accordingly.

Roberts and Smiles looked to [member="Ryn'Dhal"] with some surprise. Nothing draws a crowd like a crowd, they say. Karen simply shrugged,

"If you're a Silver? Then you can do whatever you want Padawan. Yeah. Knock yourself out."

Smiles chuckled at that. He knew about the difference between Republic and Sanctum. Still, it was funny to hear Karen take it so casually. Ron Smiles gave cough and spoke as well,

"Welcome to Republic Space, member of the Silver Sanctum. To note. We're just the taxi. So don't mind us. Heh."

Karen and Ron shrugged to each other and returned to standing at attention. Their mission here had nothing to do with Silvers or strangely masked guests. Ryn'Dhal was welcome to do as he pleased.

Orphen led the way, while kitty likely followed slighty behind, Orphen was shocked to see not only a Master of the Jedi Order, and... her padawan? But also a Mr Smiles... Orphen didn't know much of the political scene, but the name and face had been on holonet and he recalled a couple of his political platforms, none of them seemed bad per-se, but he didn't agree with all of them, but he seemed far less slimy and corrupted than some of the other senators in the republic. Orphen approached the group and bowed to the senator first and then to the Jedi master, followed by the masked padawan wearing the hip mounted light-sabers. Grateful about their welcome, he smiled broadly.

"Thank you for coming, Sir, Master Jedi."

Orphen held one hand behind his back for Kitty as a sign of support should she want it, even he with his almost complete ineptitude with force sense was able to feel how nervous she was, it wasn't a good sign, he would exchange her a look holding a subtle reassuring smile which could be translated to 'there's nothing to worry about, I promise.' Standing to a side, Orphen would allow Kitty to introduce herself to the entourage, that subtle smile still hanging on his lips, rather intrigued at what she would do, he knew she was royal, so, etiquette was in her blood, but, he also knew the kind of person kitty was, which seemed in stark opposition to that kind of behavior.

He was curious.

And it was time to dive into the deep end.

Kitty

Kitty wasn't really expecting anyone to greet them let alone three people. The weight of what Orphen had said about revealing her royal blood had begun to hit her. Of course there would be people there to greet her. This was bad, they would expect her to know all sorts of political etiquette and crap. Kitty forgot all she knew about that kind of stuff when she was taken into slaver. She was only just starting to learn some of the basics again. There was one thing going for her though. Felacat was rather out of the way and rarely visited naturally its inhabitants were reclusive as well. Felacatian's were an unheard of species so hopefully she'd get some slack from the galactic politics.

Unfortunately with her own force presence suppressed she was incapable of sensing or at least as far as the force was concerned. Though Orphen revealed at least one of them was a jedi. Her other senses were very sensitive. The first thing she noticed was the scent of a Felacatian other than herself. A male and with the same affliction as herself. What was it with this rare birth trait and always popping up in Felacatians that aren't on the homeworld. Did they shoot them out into space or something. Considering the treatment she got even as royalty she wouldn't put it past them. She'd have to look into that later. The other two Kitty didn't have much of a reaction too besides anxiety.

Orphen offered a hand and Kitty gladly took it, welcoming the comfort. It seemed appropriate for her to introduce herself and she now had the courage for it. "Hello My name is Kitty Arketa first born daughter and only child of Craven and Heiva Arketa the King and Queen of Felacat." Normally Kitty would have ended with a pleased to meet you such and such but she didn't know their names yet. She was rather used to getting to hear other peoples names first. Either she was a princess and everyone already knew her name or she was a nobody and there were more important people around who's names needed to be heard, or something like that.

Ron and Karen both gave a slight bow in reply to [member="Kitty"] 's introduction. Ron gave a smile and followed,

"Welcome to Chazwa, Lady Arketa of Felacat. I am Secretary Smiles of the Galactic Republic. An ambassador and host to the newcomers to our world and I am happy to say; your friend. My associates are Jedi Knights of the Order. And, like me, they welcome you to our homeworld. So please. If you have any questions or desire anything of us during your stay? Please don't hesitate to ask. That is what welcoming parties are for yes? Haha. To be, welcoming."

Karen gave a nod as Ron spoke and remained perfectly quiet. They didn't need her name. Her title was well and enough for dignitaries. Ron then turned to [member="Ryn'Dhal"] and gestured towards the space between them. Motioning for the Silver Apprentice to introduce himself properly to [member="Orphen"] and Lady Arketa.

"And this fellow would also like to introduce himself..."

The padawan had faltered, his spine straightening when he saw the female approaching behind his fellow padawan as they left his ship. It wasn't until the senator spoke of Ryn introducing himself that the padawan even remembered that he was actually intruding on someone else's welcoming 'party'.

Flustered, the padawan scratched the back of his head through his hood, his mind completely blank for protocol, before his eyes seeming to flash with a sudden realization that this was karking royalty!!! Dropping hand back to his side, the padawan gave a proper, formal bow, before vocalizing his introduction. Voice, soothing and melodic, even with the static interference of his mask, came forth, "Greetings, your Grace." He'd straighten his spine again, standing proper, before continuing. "I am Padawan Ryn'Dhal, of the Silver Sanctum. I must beg forgiveness for my intrusion on your visit. I had felt Orphen's presence, and wished to greet him. It hadn't dawned on me exactly how official this visit was when I.... 'crashed the party', so to speak." His voice gave off an inflection of nervousness, as he strained to keep himself from glancing about anxiously. "I... have questions, for... another time... if you would permit me, your grace?" He'd ask, cautiously, of the royal before him, before turning his attention back to the senator and Master. "I wish to not hold up your matters any further than I already have." He'd state, bowing once more before moving away from the group, a definite air of knowledge of a mistake draping the padawan like a cloak.

[member="Karen Roberts"] | [member="Kitty"] | [member="Orphen"]

Orphen was a little confused as to why a member of the silver sanctum was here, his use of force sense was well under-developed compared to that of other padawan of his own age, which was saying something, it being almost non existent, but, he had seen the mask which [member="Ryn'Dhal"] wore, if only for a fleeting moment before the chaos erupted from the planet. Holding Kittie's hand, although a little carefully so not to give the right idea,

"Ryn'dhal, It's no intrusion, I offered to show Miss Arketa what life was like here for the republic, she graciously accepted, so, I was hoping to show her around, and, well, what we have to offer i guess. Maybe you could benefit from such a tour as well."

Orphen knew he was speaking a little out of turn as a Jedi, but he was starting to feel like he missed his calling as a politician, trying to shake hands with the right people and have contacts in every strata of the galaxy, combined with the Silver Jedi Gwitheryn, this was the second member of the far more militant Silver Jedi he had met so far. And if the lordly Maelebus was anything to go by, the Silver Jedi were warriors of the greatest order, easily as competent as some of the grandest duelists and Jedi Guardians which their own order had trained.

Maybe even moreso.

But he knew that the Silver Jedi had absolutely no love for the Sith... The Holonet had talked about anti-sith bio experiments gone wrong and other disasters which the Silver Jedi had concocted to deal with the Darkside... and if they were willing to go that far... Orphen had to ask himself if this person was a threat to the mission... As Felecat would likely be known to have had sith dealings in the recent past. Even if much of it was under their iron fist and oppression.

Though, he drew his attention back to the present. Looking to [member="Kitty"] with a hopeful smile.

"So, is there anywhere you would like to see? Senate building? Jedi Temple? Those tend to be the two biggest tourist hot-spots. "

[member="Karen Roberts"]

Kitty couldn't help but smile a bit at the mention of Smiles's name. It was probably super stupid to judge someone by their name, but that alone eased her a bit. It also helped to learn that the padawan knew Orphen. She found it odd the padawan had some questions. She would have been worried had he insisted on asking them now, she would have been concerned they were suspicious.

Kitty realized suddenly she hadn't said anything in reply to Smiles and rather had just listened to their responses. "Thank you for warm welcome Mr. Smiles and jedi." Kitty said with the jedi part being a little awkward. She would then address Ryn'Dhal before he could get anywhere. "Don't worry you aren't holding anything up. As Orphen said I'm just here to sight see, nothing important." Kitty actually had questions herself like why did he wear a mask. Course that sort of question could be considered rude.

Orphen asked Kitty where she would like to go first, but she had no idea. The jedi temple was the place she was the most interested in but also the most afraid of. As royalty and a representative of Felacat if she wanted to be or not it she figured it would be assumed she'd be more interested in checking out the senate building. She wished there was another guest with here she could shove this decision on. "Whichever is closer I guess." Kitty answered Orphen.

Ron and Karen took a step back and gave a nod of the head. Their mission was already accomplished. [member="Orphen"] could take it from here. Smiles dismissed himself and his introductions with a wave of the hand,

"Excellent. Well. We do hope you have a wonderful stay with us. Again, if there is anything you should need? A taxi, directions, or a translator droid. Well. Please don't hesitate to ask. I'll give my number to your escort here. There. Now you can com away. ...And again, wonderful to meet you Lady Arketa. Enjoy."

Ron gave Orphen his calling card, official as it was, so that they could call the NDC Office when ever they wanted. It was all very political of course. Ron was a busy man. Karen herself gave a nod and the duo turned to take their leave. [member="Kitty"] and [member="Orphen"] where now free to adventure and site-see at their leisure. Unencumbered by the politics of the day or by welcoming committees any longer.

...

As the Secretary slipped into the parking lot and approached his car, he turned to Karen with a nod.

"So?"

"She's not here for politics. Or to share her planet."

"Interesting. And what makes you say that? The young man with her. The Jedi?"

"Yes. He seems... Mm. Attached. So to speak."

"Haha. So a princess arrives in the Republic on a date then? Is that what you're telling the NDC Office, Lady Roberts?"

"Honestly Ron. Yeah. That is exactly the impression I got. She's not here because she's curious about trading natural resources with the Republic. That much I'm certain of. She's here because of that Apprentice. Nothing more."

"Ah. Well. Fine fine. All is fair in love and war, I suppose. That will have to suffice. Disappointing to hear, yes. But fine."

He gave her a happy wave and slipped into his car. Leaving Karen to just shake her head. Politicians. Bah. Always have their own agendas. Go figure.

Sorry about the delay in posting! After not getting tagged, and then with an influx of IRL crap, I lost this thread after your message Kitty! Please forgive me from holding your thread up guys!!!

He watched as the Jedi Master and the senator strolled away, personally quite relieved that they'd departed. It'd make the prospect of asking his questions of the Princess a little sooner a possibility. He'd feel less threatened letting Orphen in on his own personal secret, having to an extent fought along side the other padawan before.

Returning his attention to the two, he shrugged off a slight chill. Odd. Unsure of where it came from, he'd cock his head to one side, mask angling in the process. "I'd be inclined to agree with the Princess. You are the one most familiar, and thus, best suited to lead this grand adventure my friend. Where is our next destination?" The melodic voice was still soft, and quite soothing, despite the slight interference of his mask. Golden eyes dance between the two, as a smile remained on his face behind that mask.

[member=Kitty] | [member=Orphen]

[^ was me, the window changed people on me.]

Orphen looked at the participants, and when the Jedi master seemed to be leaving for them to go about their day, the Jedi Padawan began to panic, the whole point of this visit was to attempt to have kitty stay, and get her away from her Sith lord of a father Ferus... the first thing that came to his mind was galactic standard code, a binary language which most of the republic military were able to speak in, something he was rather fluent in, having used it a couple of times before to save his butt against a rather desperate Republic Commando who placed the padawan in a pickle of a situation. Tapping the side of his blaster with one hand, Orphen would almost seemingly tap a rhythm, but the rhythm was not a nervous beat or tick, or anything of the kind, but rather, something akin to a republic equivalent of Morse Code.

'Sith Convert... Help me!'

Repeating over and over again. Trying to keep the message simple and to the point, though it may give off the wrong idea, Orphen knew that she was a sith Affiliate due to her father, but, he didn't know if she were a sith herself, as much as he suspected, she had told him as much, and he had trusted her word...

"I think we should head to the Jedi Temple here first, It's pretty nice, and you can see the kinda stuff I got up to when I was a tad younger. "

Orphen smiled Beginning to head off in the direction of the temple, smiling at [member="Ryn'Dhal"] in the process, hoping that he would come along too, while he had not known that Ryn was a member of the silver jedi at the time, Orphen didn't tend to bother, other than being a little nervous as the Silver Order had a much larger population of what he would consider Jedi Guardians and Jedi Shadows. The Silver order preached the hunting of the darkness rather than the preservation of peace. Which, with orphen being a literal product of the dark side, and Kitty being a honorary member of the Sith... this could get interesting.

...

The Temple itself looked like a large sports stadium, about five stories tall but covering an expansive width and breadth. Trees and greenery peppered the marble structure of the building which almost seemed to glow under the sunlight. Orphen would lead them forward, young-lings taking classes outside, sitting cross legged as Jedi knights would be giving them open lessons on the Jedi Code and the basic tennants of the force itself. The area would be bathed with the light side of the force. Simply being here made Orphen feel at peace, and that everything was going to be okay. Walking deeper into the facility would feel much the same, hanging chandaliers would overbear the marble floor as Jedi moved with datapads from an expansive library, masters and their padawans seeming to go about their business.

"So, this is us... it's not as big as the one we had on coruscant, but, it's something... what are your thoughts?"

[member="Kitty"] | [member="Karen Roberts"]

Kitty

The Attention Seeker
Kitty was a little relieved when part of the welcoming party left. Straining to be politically correct and formal was very taxing. Combined with the stress of everything it is quite possible had it gone on for awhile she could have lost control so to speak. Her acute senses picked up a change in Orphen as they left though. It wasn't a good change she knew that much, but beyond that she couldn't be sure. Any worry built up as a result was quickly put to rest as the masked Felecatian suggested Orphen chose their spot of tourism. He ended up choosing the jedi temple to which Kitty felt conflicted. None the less she followed Orphen's lead.

Upon reaching the temple it was rather large as one might expect. Not as large as the sith temple but apparently it was once the jedi temple Orphen referred to. Design wise they did share many common themes. Despite her restricted ability to sense the force due to her own force suppression Kitty could feel the influence the force gave off at this place. It wasn't anywhere near as tense as the sith temple. It contrasted quite a bit. However to Kitty it also had a feeling of oppression to it. Of course as did the sith temple. Perhaps even the jedi have fallen from the path that was initially intended. It was a lot prettier though she'll give it that.

That credit would quickly be lost though as they passed by some younglings being taught the jedi code. It took all her will power to keep from visibly cringing at the sound of it being recited. How anyone could fall for this crap she couldn't fathom. Anyone could look out and see the galaxy was anything but harmonious and their repression of their emotions and rejection of the dark side made them as ignorant as you can get. Kitty had once read a jedi book which had said fear led to the dark side. That had to be the stupidest thing she had ever read. Fear was a natural reaction for self preservation. Plus don't the jedi fear the dark side. So then shouldn't they all be falling to the dark side.

After moving inside Orphen asked her thoughts on the temple. "Well the scenery is certainly beautiful and it's all far easier on my ears and nose than most places. The atmosphere is another matter though." Kitty replied without intending to explain the last bit due to their lack of privacy.

[member="Orphen"] [member="Ryn'Dhal"]

Ryn ambled along behind the two, taking in the sights and sounds from behind his mask. The atmosphere was peaceful. And, there was a lot less excitement in the area, what without the hellions Ryker and Zak not present running amok. But, all in all, it was kind of nice. But, Ryn'Dhal was never one for quiet contemplations in serene environs. No, he was a creature of action. Of doing good, not just speaking good.

Nodding as [member=Kitty] gave her opinion of the temple, Ryn couldn't help but agree. "A little more.... serene.... I guess.... than I am used to seeing on Voss.... Though, our Younglings tend to be.... willful...." He'd state, chuckling softly. Looking about once more, soaking in the sights, and just the general feel of peace, he'd look to [member=Orphen]. "It is a good place to learn, to study, and grow.... to a point." He'd shrug slightly. "I just have not found myself being very keen to remain at a temple longer than necessary. I do not feel at peace, while sitting in stagnation, but that is my own personal views. Intent with inaction means nothing."

Orphen was beginning to regret his destination

Each of the two people there seemed to be more reserved and almost anxious at the location, the Jedi way was not for everybody, and the light jab about the willing nature of Jedi padawans was another matter all together. Orphen almost looked and felt a little upset at the realization. Of course this was going to be the reaction the two of them had, Kitty had known only the Sith and their ways, which had likely had an effect on her culture, the Jedi likely appeared as little more than a cage without bars to her, and the Silver was dead on the money when it came to the Jedi being light when it comes to action. The Jedi way was one of peace, and philosophy and discipline, which is easy to discredit in a time of war.

"I understand what you're saying, but, sometimes it's not about being pragmatic. As for willing, those who are string with the force and never learn to control it can lead abhorrent lives, this way those with talent in the force are able to hone their skills in a safe environment and learn about them, rather than terrorizing or abusing their ability to read the minds of others or move objects with their minds. Or fall into the hands of the Dark side. As for being less active, I think that's more of a... dress for the job you want, not the job you have... thing. We want the galaxy to be peaceful so we have to be seen as peaceful, rather than being soldiers, or killers. But not that there's anything wrong in fighting to protect ones loved ones or beliefs... But... I'm not really good at explaining all this... I find, that, the Jedi are good because they are accepting. Not their tennants or structure, there are people here who were criminals, orphans, rich, poor, young, old, weak and strong... even sith... but they all have a place. That's what I like about the Jedi order. I'd likely not be alive if i fled to the silvers fie years ago with my past. But I'll not bore you with that..."

Orphen smiled, he felt like he was loosing the narrative here, he was unsure of himself and now he wanted to get as far away from the temple as possible, there were other places here which were far nicer than than other places in the galaxy, one of which was an open market on the path to the Senate building, something nice to go through, the smell of fresh baked goods and spices and trinkets dangling in the light breeze would fill the air as creatures from all walks of life would be accumulated in the small area. Though it was hardly a festival it was an expression of freedom and safety which some of the more authoritive places in the galaxy would hardly allow to happen. People laughing and haggling here and there without the threat of loss of life or crime. The festival could be seen not to far from them now and the tour guide would begin to lead them in its direction.

"So... i guess... we can check out the market here and check out the senate building?"

Kitty

The Attention Seeker
Where the conversation led next Kitty listened to with great interest. Her unassuming intelligent mind worked fast to process the information she was receiving. The combination of what the masked cat and Orphen said made her question her perception of the jedi. For whatever reason she had presumed the jedi were forced to remain jedi so to speak and while she believed they were being taught stupidity at least they had a choice in the matter. Those that just wanted to live normal lives could do so and those that wanted to take action and do thing with their gift like the masked cat could do so if they wished. For sith once you were taken you were a sith. You didn't have a choice and if you managed to survive to become a fully fledged sith as she herself some how managed you were sith for life or else you'd be hunted down and killed probably by your former master. Most jedi were just normal people that wanted to live normal lives but thanks to the force's gift it looked a little different. Kitty still believed the sith code as it was intended was the way to go about learning and using the force if you were really serious about it. But perhaps changing the jedi to the true way would be easier than trying to reform the sith and at least they would have a choice. She now kinda felt bad her apprentices didn't really have a choice in weather or not they wanted to live a normal life. This was all quite a bit for Kitty to taken in and it was kinda overloading her. She needed something to distract her.

Orphen suggested relocating to a different tourist spot but Kitty quickly rejected the idea. "No, I want to see more. Where do the older jedi learn and what do they learn? I want to see." Kitty requested. Her curiosity had grown a lot since Orphen's little lecture.

In the mean time to distract her mind Kitty decided to focus her attention on the masked one while Orphen showed them around. "So you mentioned you had a question for me earlier. I'd like to answer that if I can. Also if I may ask a question in return why do you wear a mask? You don't have to answer it if you don't want to and I'd still happy to answer your question."

[member="Ryn'Dhal"] [member="Orphen"]

His face soured slightly behind the mask, as [member="Orphen"] gave off an obvious flare of offense. He was not pleased with either his own, or the woman's, responses about what they observed. To an extent, Ryn was making light, but not to the intent of being insulting. All Jedi walk their paths different. It was one thing he'd learned being with the Silvers. Heck, he knew a padawan who was just as likely to try to challenge an opponent to a dance battle than a saber-duel. Shake his head, his thoughts turned inwards, trying to discern exactly what it was of his words that had offended Orphen so. Yes, Orphen did effectively speak many of Ryn's own thoughts and beliefs about the various Jedi Orders, but.... His displeasure over the words chosen was what befuddled Ryn so. He didn't notice the festivities going on, but was snapped to the present when he realized [member="Kitty"] was speaking to him.

"U-wah?" He'd shake his head, seeking to recover himself. "Oh, my question... well, my question kind of goes hand in hand with my question to you.
