- Vibro-Blade - Consecration has, since it's creation, been modified from a 'regular' greatsword, and given vibro-blade potential, turning it into a deadly weapon.
- Lightsaber - The Sword of Saints has, also, been modified so that it's entire blade serves as the emitter for a lightsaber blade, turning it into a weapon of true destructive potential.
- Lignan Focusing - Consecration features Lignan Focusing Crystals, creating a blade with a fiercer cutting power and a hotter blade.
- Barab Focusing - The Sword of Saints features Barab Crystals, giving it a, guess what, fiercer cutting power and hotter blade.
- Dantari Focusing - Consecration features Dantari Crystals, allowing the wielder to recover from Force Exhaustion faster.
- Phrik - The Sword of Saints is reinforced sword-wide with Phrik to increase it's durability.
- Songsteel - Consecration is made out of Songsteel, giving it a lightweight and easy swing, aswell as increasing it's durability.
- Obsidian - The blade of the Sword of Saints is edged with obsidian, providing it with some of the sharpest cutting power available.
STRENGTHS
- Cutting Power - Between the Obsidian Edging, Barab and Lignan Focusing Crystals and Vibro-Blade potential, Consecration is, without a doubt, a weapon of extreme destructive potential.
- Durability - Made of Songsteel and reinforced with Phrik, the Sword of Saints is nearly indestructible.
- Multi-Purpose - Consecration is a rare, almost unique weapon when it comes to functionality. It has three modes, off, being a normal blade, vibro, turning into a vibroblade, and on, when it fully ignites into it's lightsaber.
- Fire-Power - Due to the Barab and Lignan Crystals utilised in the 'focusing' of the blade, the lightsaber blade is extremely hot, capable of igniting flammable items from simply being near it.
- Dark Temptation - The Sword of Saint's focusing crystals are both Dark Side Oriented, making it easy to be pulled to the Dark Side of the Force easier when using them.
- Big and Heavy - In comparison to a regular humanoid, Consecration is the size of said humanoid and extremely heavy, making it nearly impossible for even a wookiee to raise the blade, let alone wield it efficiently.
- Blade of Fire - Due to the Barab and Lignan Crystals utilised in the 'focusing' of the blade, the lightsaber blade is extremely unstable, and extremely inaccurate when deflecting blaster bolts, at which it is already gloriously inefficient at due to it's thin blade, making it better suited for melee combat.
- Cortosis - Consecration is as susceptible as any other lightsaber to the effects of Cortosis, and could be temporarily shorted out, should they come into contact with it.
- Waterworks - Not possessing a bifurcating cyclical-ignition pulse, the Sword of Saints is rendered all but useless in water.
Any family notable for it's nobility or warrior status has an artefact or heirloom that is passed down through the ages, sometimes multiple. The Arcturus Family of Baleron and the Sean-Olc are no different, being both High Nobility and Royalty.
Their heirloom, however, is slightly different. Having passed through so many generations since it's creation, it is only expected that it should see use by a warrior within the family. However, it is not often where an artisan and blacksmith finds themselves in the possession of such a grand artefact.
Though, that is exactly what happened to Taramaz Arcturus. Given the weapon as a badge of office as Archduke of Baleron and High King of the Sean-Olc, he found the weapon lacking and outdated in the modern age. So he did what any self-respecting blacksmith would do...
He modified it. Nothing major at first, just modifying it into a vibro-blade, to be expected to keep up with lightsabers and other vibroweapons in a time of blasters and ION disrupters...
It was the next part that one might not expect.
He turned the entire blade of the weapon into a lightsaber emitter, so that whenever he pressed the button, the blade erupted in a red, fiery blade, burning as if it was a flame. It was only then, after achieving this pinnacle of advancement in weaponry, that he was satisfied with the weapon.
No longer was it just a songsteel weapon with phrik to make it stronger and obsidian to make it sharper... no... now it was a weapon of mass destruction. And a damn big and heavy one at that. As big as a grown man and heavy enough to make a wookiee struggle for no apparent reason, it weighs nearly twice the weight of an average human male.
Possessing a seven foot blade and a two foot hilt, including the pommel and crossguard, Consecration burns with a fire hotter than Hell and it's wounds cut deeper than the harshest of words. It is a blade worth bearing the name of the Sword of Saints
