COMPANY TIERS
Factory Company Tiers are ways to invest more roleplay, time and development into a character's company. Progression is achieved through a "boarding process", where a writer demonstrates to a panel of Factory Judges their qualifications for a Series License or Tier Specialization. These qualifications can contain roleplays, Factory submissions, and a panel-specific presentation - and may be presented in an OOC or IC fashion, to prove your character or company's mastery over the subject of the boarding process.

There is no set way to demonstrate mastery over one's field in the boarding process, and no template to follow. There will be no feedback, only approval or disapproval.

The business world of Star Wars RP: Chaos is cutthroat.

Series License
Series Licenses are how Company Tiers are obtained. Each Series License on the above map represents different industries, as companies and writers will want to pursue licenses adjacent to their chosen fields of interest and those that make sense for their companies. However, companies may pursue multiple licenses - but must board each time, starting with the 100 series. You must then progress sequentially. You may only proceed sequentially once you have obtained a prior Series License in the same line of industry.

A Company's Tier is decided by their highest Series License.

e.g. You may have a 100 series in Security, and a 400 series in Industrial, at the same time. It is possible for a company to achieve all Series Licenses.

Once a writer is ready for the Boarding Process, they may request their Boarding Process via the Company Tier Request Thread.

Specialization
Specializations are prestigious perks locked behind Company Tiers that must be attained in the same boarding process as Series Licenses. Once a Company has attained a 100 Series License approved by a member of the SWRP Staff Team or a Factory Judge, that Company is now considered a Tier 1 Company and may board again for a Specialization if they choose. The boarding process is exactly the same as for a Series License - a writer must demonstrate, through a presentation of a writeup, Factory submissions, and roleplays their mastery in that specific Specialization.

e.g. A Tier 1 Company may apply for any of the Tier 1 Specializations, such as Droids. The writer would then draft a presentation of submissions, roleplays, and the board specific writeup to convince their panel to approve their Specialization request.

Once a writer is ready for the Boarding Process, they may request their Boarding Process via the Company Tier Request Thread.

Boarding Process
A writer can work on their presentation for Series License/Specialization promotion in a reply to their Company's Listing at any point in time. Once it is finished, they will post their request to be reviewed and approved via the Company Tier Request Thread.

A panel of 3 Factory Judges/Mods/Admins will review the promotion, and give a simple yay/nay. There is no time limit for this review process, though if a writer has waited more than a week they may DM a Judge/Admin/Mod for an update on their process.

The panel review consisting of Judges/Mods/Admins are not required to give feedback. If denied, the writer is to assume they did not convince their panel they are ready for approval and must continue work on their presentation.

If denied, writers must wait an additional 7 days before attempting to reboard.

Presentation
1. There is no template provided by SWRP for your presentation. You are on your own.
2. There is no minimum requirement for your presentation. You are on your own to convince your panel.
3. A presentation writeup may include graphics or whatever you deem necessary to convince your panel.
4. A presentation may not have submissions if you choose not to show them off.
5. A presentation may not have roleplays linked if you choose not to show them off.
6. A presentation may be entirely In Character if you choose to write it this way.
7. A presentation may be entirely Out Of Character if you choose to write it this way.
8. A presentation with scanlines behind text will be denied.
9. Writers may use old submissions or new submissions in their presentation (no matter how old).
10. Presentations are not determined by quantity of submissions or age of companies.
11. Companies will not be "grandfathered".

Rewards
Writers will be assigned "trophies" displayed on their profile representing either the specialization or license they have attained. Other prestigious rewards, such as tier specific postbits, flair, and username banner are being worked on for in the future. These rewards will not be obtainable unless you follow the Company Tier progression.

There are no current IC rewards being planned, nor Factory rewards for submission bonuses or rare materials.
