Description: Designed as a companion starship to the Supremus-Class Star Yacht, the Companion is a small fighter capable of space flight. About the size of an airspeeder, the companion boasts speeds in vacuum comparable to an interceptor however lacks in weaponry and shielding. The small ship boasts a pair of dual-linked blaster canons, located on either wing and one dual-linked ion canon on its nose. Contrary to older Mandalorian starfighters, the Companion-class is also aesthetically pleasing to the eye.

Mkay, few things.

First off, I'm assuming Dual-linked is the Dual modifier? If so, please specify.

Second, you label the ship as a starfighter, but it seems to have Interceptor speed and weapons. Is it a starfighter or an Interceptor?

I was under the impression that an Interceptor was a class/type of starfighter. I was using it in the general sense. Dual-linked...I thought I saw that somewhere on the Wookie, but its basically just the two blasters/ion cannons that fire at the same time. So instead of a one two one two firing rate you just get the one one one fire but if it makes things simpler I'll just put the 2x blasters

An interceptor is a class of starfighter. It fields a smaller number of guns and much lighter armor but gets a class 1 speed rating. I asked because you've listed the ship at class 1 speed, interceptor speed, and you have four standard weapons and no launchers which, if you'd dropped the launchers and swapped them to standard weapons, would even out the armament. It can still have the role of a starfighter, but with the speed and weapons set that way, the actual class would be Interceptor.
