STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES (Required: 2 Weaknesses Minimum) :

Strengths:
  • Marksman - Trained in all many of firearms, Cody can easily adapt to whichever weapons he finds in the field. This is an invaluable tool for a field operative where weapons found back home would often draw unwelcome attention.
  • Cage Fighter - Cody frequents underground fighting clubs whenever he can, and throws himself into the fray. After many years he has learned to fight the hard way, and while his style is rough it is no less effective in martial combat.
  • Personality Switch - Due to circumstances during his childhood Cody received a powerful blow to his psyche. This has left him with the unique ability to simply turn his emotions off at will, turning himself into a sociopath capable of doing whatever the job requires.
  • Master of Disguise - Almost considering it a game, Cody often changes his looks and how he acts to throw off others. Accents are one of his favorite things to mimic, usually just needing to listen to natives talk for awhile to grasp the subtleties.
Weaknesses:
  • Adrenaline Junkie - adrenaline is the only thing that seems to keep the surface Cody present. His greatest fear is that one day the sociopath will become permanent. This causes him to do whatever extreme sports, from skydiving to fight clubs, to keep the adrenaline pumping.
  • Hopeless Flirt - Cody ha a tendency to flirt with any pretty girl he meets, but has absolutely no idea what to do should they show interest in return. This often leads to very awkward situations.

SHIP:
Whatever is assigned to him for the mission.

BIOGRAPHY:
While not born on Atrisia, Cody was born on a planet close to it. A poor planet after being ravished by the plague, most of the money lay in the hands of the ruling elite under a well respected King who actually seemed to care about his subjects. Cody's uncle served as an advisor to the King, a fact that the young boy was extremely proud of. So proud, in fact, that he modeled his entire life around the uncle and desired to follow in his uncle's footsteps once he was old enough.

Until the coup attempt where the royal viscount and many others of the court, including Cody's uncle, attempted to seize the throne. The plot failed, and every member of the court involved in the plot was publicly executed.

Watching his his uncle be beheaded was a crushing blow to the boy. He became withdrawn, closed off. Everyone close to him, including the girl he cared most about, became unnecessary and unwanted. By all respects he seemed little more than a droid in human flesh. He remained this way for two years before some of his friends, not having given up on fixing him, forced him to go skydiving. The pure thrill, the pumping adrenaline, broke whatever mental block had fallen upon him and in a wild whoop of joy the old cheery Cody was back. Temporarily at least.

Able to finish out school as a normal person, the planet was soon visited by Atrisian agents. By chance one of them witnessed Cody shift personalities and coldy strike down a pick pocket. The agent carefully approached the now young adult, and using promises of giving him a place in the Galaxy that his uncle's betrayal had taken, recruited Cody into the Imperial Intelligence Bureau. Having non Atrisian agents was seen as invaluable to the bureau.

At the time Cody looked much younger than he really was, allowing him to slip in as a dumb kid in the wrong place at the wrong time. Eventually he matured physically, and could no longer pass as a young teen. But he had also by now adapted to his new career, finding it a comfortable fit.
