The Cloud Pools of Hanna are a geologic wonder that resides outside Hanna City. Along the coast but far enough away where its not a beach-retreat, the Cloud Pools exist in the center of an upland hammock and pine rockland environment. Based on a ground of sand and limestone, water percolates up and is filtered, into the pools, or arrives by rain. Found by ancient Chandrilan mystics, the pools reflect the sky, and the rocks beneath the water are blue and white.
Designated as a historic and cultural site, it was once written that the mystics felt this was a gateway to the afterlife, a Chandrilan heaven. Now, tourists from all over come to see if the rumors of the healing properties of the water are true, and bask in the wilderness not far from the coast nor the capital city.
