Intent: To enhance existing Cortosis Warden cloaks to create interesting artifacts for Micah, his siblings, and cousin that will offer a method to protect them by confusing others about their Force Signature by using canon Jal Shey imbuing techniques and Taozin leather materials that mimic canon Taozin amulet abilities..

Development Thread: N/A

Manufacturer: Micah

Model: Cloaks of Aatrox

Affiliation: Micah Talith | [member="Aela Talith"]| [member="Maleah Talith"] | [member="Kaili Talith"] | Vexen
Centurion

Modularity: Yes

Production: Semi - Unique (5)

Material: Force Imbued dense non-flammable cloth, cortosis dust, Alchemiezd Insulated Taozin leather liner nodules.

Classification: Deactivates Lightsabers, Seamless Force disguise.

Weight: 4kg

Quality: Class 4

Special Features:

  • Zap your saber up! - As these are merely upgraded Warden Cloaks, they use the existing cloth material that is already impregnated with cortosis ore dust to a high degree. When a lightsaber comes in contact with the cloak, cortosis dust enters the blade plasma and trips the activation loop, deactivating the lightsaber immediately.

  • Hide and Seek!- The cloth part of these cloaks have been permanently imbued by the Force using Jal Shey techniques to protect the wearer from being discerned through the Force. It does this by imprinting the wearer's presence in the Force across a specific area, making it very difficult for another Force user to discern their exact location.

  • Sense me?! Taozin Not!! -- Taozin nodules leather liner naturally interferes with the sense abilities, making the wearer appear invisible in the Force. They blurred and clouded Force senses so their wearers could not be detected easily by a Force-sensitive. Wielders of taozin nodules lined cloak could maintain the same Force-disguise that a living taozin could, that in conjunction to the Force Scattering imbuement, created a seamless force disguise while wearing it.

  • Ghost Buster! - Like any force imbued blade or item, this cloak ironically holds the potential to damage and destroy darkside spirits.

Description:
Micah comes from a family legacy that has a vast wealth of information and knowledge in sith alchemy. His grandfather Moridin, his father, his uncle Dissero, and the women of the Shamalain line are all powerful in their own rights when it comes to artifacts and their creation. Fully intent and on his way to becoming a Master Alchemist and Jal Shey imbuing specialist, Micah would continue to utilize and consult the immense library of information from his father and the aid of his Uncle Dissero who himself is a Master Alchemist.

This gives him an incredible wealth of knowledge from both his Great Uncle Disserohttp://starwarsrp.net/user/3849-dissero/, the journals of his grandfather (the ones his father and uncle would even let him review and highly supervised) and the knowledge given to him by his father, Soliael Devin Talith that he had acquired his entire lifetime. Micah's spent much of his time studying with his Uncle Dissero, his father, and during the times he would visit the Jedi with his mother, studied lightside alchemy classes and Jal Shey Force imbuing techniques.

It was after Micah’s experience on Ord Mirit that the pressing desire to do something about blending into the Force and hiding within it came to a head. Prior to this Force choking experience, Micah had already dabbled in coming up with ideas that would mimic the ability to scatter one’s force signature in an area. After consulting with Dissero and his Oma, Quietus, the effects of a Taozin’s natural Force disguising ability was used. With his Jal Shey Force Imbuing techniques continually growing to mastercraft abilities, this was well within his grasp, but due to the high energy output, would require him to take his time in between imbuings.

Finding no fault in the creation of the AEL Warden Cloak, Micah decided to augment the cloth by alchemizing and imbuing the five cloaks available to him after purchasing them for his siblings and cousin. He would simply add an additional liner under the cloak of Taozin skin nodules, The crafting, alchemizing and imbuing of these five Warden cloaks took the greater part of three weeks to complete, but the end result was to his liking.

The first week was spent imbuing each of the five cloaks over a five day period to mimic the Force ability known as Force Scattering. The cloth part of these cloaks have been permanently imbued by the Force using Jal Shey techniques to protect the wearer from being discerned through the Force. It does this by imprint his presence in the Force across a specific area, making it very difficult for another Force user to discern the wearer’s exact location by imprinting the wearer’s presence across a specific area.

The second week was spent in the alchemization process of the Taozin leather nodules for the internal liner. The Taozin nodules leather of a Taozin, naturally interferes with the sense abilities, making the wearer appear invisible in the Force. A Taozin naturally does this this by blurring and clouding the Force senses so that they would not be detected easily by a Force-sensitive. Wielders of taozin nodules could maintain the same Force-disguise that a living taozin could, disappearing nearly completely into the mystic energy force. Much like a Taozin Amulet, Micah would replicate this ability, alchemizing the leather to strengthen and lock in the effect as a secondary measure under the first layer of protection of the Force scattering imbuement.

This was done so as to ensure that under the cloth imbuement, the wearer’s of the Aatrox cloak will still be protected by disappearing nearly completely into the mystic energy of the Force, that in conjunction to the Force scattering of their signature, will result in a seamless Force disguise when wearing it.

The third week was spent in combining the existing insulated liner with the Taozin leather nodule one. The result was the following. When a lightsaber comes in contact with the cloak, cortosis dust enters the blade plasma and trips the activation loop, deactivating the lightsaber immediately. The cloak retains a scar, but at least six strikes in the same area would be required to cut through due to the new alchemized Taozin leather liner. The cloak is made from non-flammable substances; contact with a lightsaber will burn a localized outside cloth area, but fire will not spread. The cloak still is insulated to prevent contact burns. However, the alchemization process does make this cloak heavier, ensuring that a wearer would have to get used to the additional endurance required for fighting and making movements while wearing it. One cannot simply wear it without training to move under it and maintain a high dexterity.

These cloaks were dubbed "Cloak of Aatrox" in honor of his uncle, [member="Cameron Centurion"], for his role in the Moross Crusade as Aatrox the Deceiver, the God and patron saint of thieves, assassins, and politicians. This tribute would mimic the gifts known to be given by him to his followers in stealth and subterfuge.

Also In a jam, one can use this cloak to smother a darkside spirit and damage it because it is Force imbued.

So, just to double check, this is an upgrade of the AEL Warden Cloak for the people you've listed?

Yes. I had already bought the cloaks and am upgrading the existing AEL Warden cloaks specifically for those people I have listed.
