HISTORY
Cliff was born on the world of Brentaal IV, the third of four children, to a very wealthy family, his father, Reginald Remmington, is a high-placed general with connections to the planetary government, and his mother, Elizabeth, comes from a line of shipping magnates, this made it easy for the family to make money hand over fist with a no more than the expected amount of graft.
Though Cliff learned about the business side of the family he was much more interested in technology, thanks to having access to some of the best tutors in the galaxy (and a few "donations" to the school by his parents without his knowledge) he was able to, at sixteen, secure early admission to a prestigious university for an engineering degree. Once he graduated his parents insisted he learn how to handle himself in "the real world" by captaining one of the family's ships for a couple of years, however, the bulk cruiser came under attack by pirates, and Cliff
