Myles sat on the edge of the bed in a crappy motel room staring out the lone window into the night. Despite the fact he was freezing cold sweat dripped from him like a Tatooine desert at high noon. Running his hand through his messy hair Myles sighed.
It had been a long fall from grace for the former soldier. Once a highly respected member of the Army of the Republic he was now struggling day to day picking up whatever jobs he could from whoever was paying that day. He had also picked up a rather nasty drinking habit. One that got him in trouble more often than not.
That all was about to change for Myles. In the morning his was checking into the hospital. A place where he could deal with his demons both the mental and the physical ones.
Tomorrow was a new day and a fresh start. One he desperately needed.
