  • Structure Name: Citadel of Odion
  • Classification: Temple, Sith Academy
  • Location: Naporar
  • Affiliation: Lord Odion, New Sith Order
  • Accessibility: The Citadel of Odion is located in the nuclear wasteland created by the Sith Lord Odion. Situated in the largest of these impact craters, approach by foot is entirely possible, though highly dangerous due to the nuclear nature of the terrain around the Citadel. Travel to the Citadel from orbit or air is safer, but requires radiation shields to ensure the safety of their crew.
  • Description: The Citadel of Odion is a massive structure situated within a crater, one among many. Rising nearly a kilometer in height, the Citadel is divided into three distinct sections. Two pyramid like designs dominate the left and right side of the Citadel, with a third smaller pyramid situated between the two. Several landing pads are connected by walkways to the far right pyramid structure, serving as the primary access route into the Citadel. Very few windows are built in to the Citadel, to minimize the amount of exposure risk those inside can face from the radiation in the wasteland around it. Storm clouds almost permanently float above the Citadel, casting the location in a dark gloom, though it rarely ever rains.

  • Landing Pads: Two primary landing pads are connected to the Citadel of Odion. Set at exact forty five degree angles from one another, each landing pad is large enough to hold two large transports, or five average sized starfighters. Situated at the edge of the Radiation Shielding protecting the Citadel, many visitors have noted a feeling of warmth washing over them, slowly dissipating as they move closer to the main structure. Several beacon lights are built in to both landing pads, allowing for safe landing at all times of day, and in any weather situation.
  • Hall of Pain: The Hall of Pain is the first and far right pyramid structure making up the Citadel of Odion. Within the Hall of Pain one will find dozens of training centers, dueling halls, and the torture chambers that make up the training regime Lord Odion demands of his followers. The main entrance, roughly one hundred meters in height and the first place all coming from the landing pads will enter, is within the Hall of Pain. Statues depicting many Sith Lords that Lord Odion respects line the marbled entrance hall, though one may note there are many empty pedestals. Situated on top of the Hall of Pain, and exposed to the elements, but still protected by Radiation Shielding, is the official Arena of Blood.
    • The Arena of Blood is a fifty by twenty meter sand pit located at the pinnacle of the Hall of Pain. The Arena is sunk several meters into the Hall of Pain, allowing for those standing above and around the edges of the Arena to have an unobstructed view of the combatants within. Channels are cut into the Arena, allowing for that blood not taken up by the sand to run off, and stain the sides of the Hall of Pain. All official duels and challenges are carried out within the Arena of Blood, and it is one of the only places in the Citadel that death of an opponent will not be punished.
  • Sepulcher of Darkness: Located behind the Hall of Pain, or next to it depending on ones orientation, is the Sepulcher of Darkness. The private residence of Lord Odion, the Throne of Contempt, Shrine of Agony, and the personal chambers he uses and his private library are all spread out across the Sepulcher. Access to the Sepulcher is possible only through a single entrance within the Hall of Pain, and the Hall of Fear. Travel between the two main Halls is carried out through a single corridor that cuts through the Sepulcher, with one of the only window views in the Citadel showing all who pass the Throne of Contempt, reminding them of Lord Odion's power.
    • Throne of Contempt: The Throne of Contempt is the private audience hall and seat of power for Lord Odion. Carved from the stone of the land around the Citadel, carefully purged of its radioactive remnants, the Throne of Contempt and the chamber it is in sits directly over the former city that was destroyed by the Brotherhood of Maw in the past, and levelled to dust by Lord Odion. The death of so many in one location can still be felt in the Force, and some speak of whisper in the back of their minds when they are in or near the Throne of Contempt.
    • Shrine of Agony: The Shrine of Agony is the personal training ground and experimental testing location for Lord Odion. Divided in two, the Shrine of Agony serves as both a duelist arena, and a Sith Alchemical and Sorcery chamber. It is here that Odion practices new techniques, and develops new Sith Force Abilities with which he will teach his followers. Few are ever allowed entrance to the Shrine of Agony, and only his chosen Apprentices ever see the chamber more than once.
  • Hall of Fear: The furthest back, or farthest left of the Citadel's pyramid structures, the Hall of Fear is used by the followers of Lord Odion as their personal quarters. Everyone, barring servants and guards, within the Hall of Fear is allocated their own private room, five meters wide, five meters long, and five meters tall. The Citadel's primary medical center is also located within the Hall of Fear, as well as the mess hall open at all times of day, with strict supervision. The only other windows within the Citadel of Odion are located here, providing those within a view of the ruined landscape beyond, and the remnants of a civilization that resisted the will of the Sith.

Security: Low

  • The Citadel of Odion maintains only a small garrison of security force made up of Disciples of Odion. Armed with blaster rifles at the largest extreme, but primarily hold out blaster pistols or even melee weapons, the Disciples serve mostly in the role of door guards. Located within Brotherhood space, and surrounded by radiation, the primary security for the Citadel relies on it being too inconvenient for hostile forces to get to. In desperate times starfighters can be stationed at the Citadel, but this will greatly hinder its logistical capability and the ability for traffic to come and go from the Citadel.

Like all worlds within the Chiss Ascendancy, Naporar faced the destructive might of the Brotherhood of the Maw. The former central command world for the Chiss Defense Fleet, it provided a significant defensive bastion for their kind following the loss of Csilla. But like all their worlds, it too fell before the ever advancing hordes of the Brotherhood. Its defense fleets were broken, its armies shattered, and its people scattered to the wind, if not slaughtered on the world. It was years later that Lord Odion would come to this world, having staked his claim on this region of the Brotherhood territory. He wished to build a new Sith Academy and Temple on this world. Desiring a fresh start and an easy construction site, Lord Odion ordered nuclear weapons to be deployed on an isolated region of the planet. Once a suitable foundation had been secured, radiation protected droids were sent to begin construction.

Several months after construction had begun, and proper radiation shielding was established, Odion traveled to the surface of the world to see the progress. Initially pleased, he began to expand the construction effort, bringing down living workers as well as the first students for this new academy. He would establish his primary base of operations within the Citadel of Odion, and from here begin the process of gathering, teaching, and properly training his own following of Sith, to better carry out his will and ambition within the Brotherhood of the Maw, and the wider galaxy as a whole.
