- Alchemized Terentaktek leather strap makes it resistant to being pulled off of his neck by the Force and increases it's strength so it is not so easily snapped.
Description:
Micah comes from a family legacy that has a vast wealth of information and knowledge in sith alchemy. His grandfather Moridin, his father, his uncle Dissero, and the women of the Shamalain line are all powerful in their own rights when it comes to artifacts and their creation.
Micah's spent much of his time studying with his Uncle Dissero as well as his father, and it was this basis that during a trip to the Jedi Academy, a class in crafting 'lightside alchemy' came to pass. It was an opportunity for the young man to craft his first pendant.
While he rather have crafted something for his younger sister in regards to "luck", Master Alince told him that there was no such thing possible. In that stead, he decided to instead craft a pendant from aurodium for an increase in mental resistance.
He would imbue the aurodium with the Force, and using alchemy and a drop of his blood, craft this pendant. It is simple, a circlet of aurodium that is tied around his neck with a Terentaktek leather strap, hide gained through excursions with his siblings and grandmother, the leader of the Beastriders of Onderon. The alchemization of the leather, making it lightsaber resistant. A terentatek's hide was highly resistant—in some cases even immune—to the effects of the Force. In the end, the circlet is intended to amplify his mental defenses and boost his strength, but a strong mentalist can penetrate even this ring’s additional strength and mental resistance. This is especially true in the case of a mentally focused master taking on another master without such training.
