ADVANCED SYSTEMS
  • Research-grade Sensor Suite
  • Research Facilities
  • Biosphere/Environmental Manipulation Suite
  • Hostile Environment Shields
  • TELAR / TEA Network Interface
Strengths:
  • Research Sensors & Facilities: While rarer vessels might provide finer and less cramped conditions, for a mass-market vessel the Cin'vhetin has exceptional sensors and facilities for all forms of scientific research.
  • Biosphere Processing: Built to repair Mandalore's dying biosphere, the processors on this ship are minature terraforming devices - not capable of altering more than a kilometer or so at most, and limited in scale to small-scale alterations or cleaning / altering what is already present. They cannot, on their own, generate life where none existed.
  • Hostile Environment Shielding: The shields and armour on the vessel are tuned to allow it to fly through and land on planets with Type I-IV atmospheres, although particularly esoteric Type IV planets may pose a risk to the vessel.
  • Integrates with RID TELAR / TEA terraforming networks, to allow both systems to complement one another.
Weaknesses:
  • Non-combatant: With shielding tuned to environmental protection and no guns, this vessel is utterly at the mercy of other ships without an escort.
  • Cramped: For all it's fabulous technology, this vessel was shoved together out of whatever Kryze had to hand, it's cramped and poor for long term missions in truly hostile environments - crews tend to prefer landing and camping outside the vessel.
Description:
Created in the first days of Clan Kryze's return to Mandalore and the beginning of the restoration of the planet, the concept is the brainchild of Shia Kryze, who - utterly not a ship designer - looked at the widespread environmental fallout and said 'why not just fly there and fix it' - and was promptly dragged by a design team to explain to them how she expected them to do that.

As a consequence, the ship suffers some... issues. It's designed to fly around Mandalore and to fix Mandalore - the hyperdrive was added as an afterthought because the hull was in theory spaceworthy. And while it's quick, nimble and has some shielding, it's utterly unarmed. It's also cramped for long term missions. But several outsiders saw the strange looking craft flying across the surface of Mandalore and thought of all the worlds the various powers had burned, of all the battle damage, and they inquired of Clan Kryze if they might be willing to sell a few.

Any profit is money for the restoration and for Kryze, so the family engineers were only too happy to put the designs into production. They've proven popular on settled worlds, but people have yet to use them for truly long range missions, despite their fast hyperdrive.

TELAR / TEA Network Interface
I see that these are currently under review, so I can't finish judging this ship until both of them are officially approved. Tag me when they're both approved.

Otherwise, this is a really nice piece of world-crafting. I don't anticipate having to ask for any edits before approving this submission.
