DESCRIPTION

The CI-1, or Chiss Ion Cannon, is a new addition to the Chiss Expansionary Defense Fleet starships. Serving as an emplacement to be used to disrupt enemy electronics, the CI-1 fits the role of ion cannon perfectly. The CI-1 is capable of firing at targets much further than a standard ion cannon while hitting just as hard. This allows starships utilizing the CI-1 to take out enemy electronics from afar so that engaging them will be much more efficient and effortless.
