HISTORY

Chu Yao was born into a family of imperial civil servants but was brought into Sith Order as a boy to be trained as a Sith. He was an excelled swordsman and duelist but what really caught the attention of the other lords was his prose and the way he conducted himself. He participated in seminars to discuss Sith philosophy texts and have scholarly debates. Truth be told had no interest in history or philosophy. He still kept contact with his family who were administrators, civil servants, and economists. But his aptitude for the social sciences made him a prime candidate to be a historian and later an archivist.

He would then become the Chief Librarian of the Yalaran Sith Archives. He normally lead expeditions to hunt for Sith artifacts and lecture acolytes on Sith teachings. He enjoys his work, not cause he likes it, or because he's good at it. But because he enjoys the solitude of not having to deal with other Sith who Chu feels can be overbearing with their bloodlust and scheming.

Chu never found himself wrapped into the internal politics of the Sith. But naturally, his archives were a congregating site for members of the Tsis'Kaar. As Chu was inclined to be around them more than other agents of the other doctrines, Chu found himself inclined to the motives of the Tsis'Kaar, to preserve knowledge and the traditions of the Sith so that may not be lost while also not acting through militarized posturing, but from the shadows. As a Tsis'Kaar agent, Chu supplies the locations of holocrons and other artifacts to be safeguarded on Yalara. Because of his allegiances, he is more inclined to aid his fellow Tsis'Kaar by giving them near unlimited access to the Yalaran Archives. Sith of other allegiances are normally met with apathy and sometimes condescension from Chu if they attempt to ask for a specific artifact from him.
