Chronicles of a Spymaster

With its idyllic beaches, absolutely gargantuan, statue-like trees, and blue oceans, Kashyyyk was absolutely beautiful. It was no wonder the Wookies had made such a prosperous life here, or that the Silver Jedi had made their new headquarters on the planet. From his new quarters in the Silver Rest, Cassius could see out for a great distance, able to marvel at the beauty of the planet.

Not that he was doing that, however.

As he was most of the time, he was cooped up in his room, sitting in his favorite chair, reading over datachips and historical entries. Lately, a rather elusive subject had piqued his interest: that of Jedi Master Tholme. Some reports claimed that he had died long before the Clone Wars, but more reliable sources Cassius found indicated that he had not only lived through the war, but served as a spymaster for the Jedi. Due to his recent entry into the Silver Shadows, the young Jedi figured he would study up as much as he could on old spy tactics.

It had taken awhile, but Cassius eventually began to pick up on small threads as to the fate of Tholme. He managed to piece together that Tholme had survived the Jedi Purge, and had ended up living on the very planet Cassius was on, along with his former pupil, Quinlan Vos and their respective love interests. Now there was a physical location he could find – the dwelling of these fugitive Jedi. Perhaps artifacts had been left behind. Either way, it would be a glimpse into history.

Clipping his datapad to his belt, Cassius stood and left the room, making sure the door was locked behind him. The simplistic Jedi robes he started to wear adorned him once again, rather than the flight suit he’d grown privy to. His blaster was once again strapped to his thigh, and his expandable jo staff on his left hip where a lightsaber typically would be. The young Jedi had told himself time and time again that he needed to construct a new lightsaber, but other things seemed to always get in the way.

He headed down towards the large hangar bay, where his small freighter, the Stardust Melody, was housed. However, he would probably take his own starfighter, an RZ-X A-wing interceptor, on this journey, if only he knew where to go.
