- Ageless: As a Crystal, Chip does not age like normal beings and does not need to fear time or an age related death.
- No Food or Water: As a Crystal, Chip does not require the consumption of biological matter to survive. So long as he is occasionally exposed to low levels of radiation, Chip can survive just fine.
- Small Target: Even when within his BEEP-XD Exosuit, Chip is a very small target that is hard to hit with firearms.
- Immobile: As a Crystal, Chip is incapable of self-mobility and must rely on his chassis or the help of others for transportation.
- Size Restriction: While Chip is capable of growing larger (and thus more intelligent), doing so would mean that he could no longer be used as a lightsaber crystal or fit within his BEEP-XD exosuit.

Chip is a small, teal colored Nakfet Crystal with several scratches and a chip missing from where he was removed from his colony. Chip is roughly the size of a "normal lightsaber crystal" and currently lives within a BEEP-XD chassis that Chip uses to explore the worlds of the galaxy, seeking to learn as much as possible about the different people and species of the galaxy and the worlds they inhabit.

PERSONALITY:
Chip is a young crystal that has learned to enjoy exploring the worlds of the carbon-based lifeforms. Chip sometimes sings when happy or bored or sad and sometimes sings when carbon-based lifeforms find it inappropriate for him to be singing.

BIOGRAPHY:
Chip was removed from his colony thirteen years ago by a Jedi seeking a lightsaber crystal. Chip was used as such for several years before Chip learned to communicate with the human that was using Chip as a lightsaber crystal. Chip told the Jedi that he did not like being used to kill people and wanted to explore the galaxy as something other than a weapon. This eventually resulted in Chip being volunteered to the Rekali Clan for use in their experiments with the BEEP-XD project. Once the testing was complete, Chip activated the cloaking system on his BEEP-XD Exosuit and drifted off to begin his own adventure.
