Chillin' Like a Villain

Ayessa decided to take it to the underground levels of Coruscant. She didn't leave the upper levels often because she couldn't stand the dimly lit, poorly conditioned underside of the city planet. She had to get used to eventually, however. She decided if anything she would visit a cantina to meet some new people. She always met the most fun of people in cantinas. Perhaps she would meet someone large? Someone lean? Someone strong or someone weak. Nobody knew and that's what excited her.

She wore her normal attire of a red top and white skirt accompanied by thigh high boots, the hilt of her saber buckled onto her belt. She arrived into the cantina, chatter and loud music immediately overcoming her senses. There was a strong stench of alcohol and the atmosphere inside the cantina matched the location it was in almost perfectly. She figured most of the people in here were regulars but she didn't let that stop her. She was sith. They should fear her, not the other way around.

She approached the counter and asked for finest tasting glass. The bartender gave her a weird glance before shuffling behind the counter and pouring a drink she had never seen before. She was skeptical, but what could she do? She thanked the man before taking a sip of her drink. Her mouth felt poisoned with the awful flavor. She shook her head as the bartender chuckled. "What is this?!" She blurted, taking a seat on the nearest stool trying to salvage whatever taste buds she had left.

He didn't know rightly was had brought him here. A dirty, low budget cantina, practically reeking of shady activity (and somewhat reeking of other things) but something inside him made him choose this place, over the two dozen other such establishments within just a click of his current location. But who knew, anything could happen to anyone anywhere.

Sabastian glanced sideways at the new arrival, the smallet smirk on his lips "Now if I followed everything properly, I believe the bartender just served you whats called a 'Remote Terminator. Get one of those badly mixed and they can quite literally be lethal" He explained, lifting his own glass in a salute, though in contrast it was filled with a somewhat red coloured liquid "Sabastian, if names are to be traded"

Her eyebrows perched in curiosity. Simply by the drinks intimidating name did she realize that the sip she took would never be worth it. The seconds she took to take that sip could never be taken bad. A large portion of Ayessa wanted to toss the liquid into someones face but she took a few breaths- to both calm herself and air out her mouth and looked towards the man who had decided to be friendly towards the deceived Echani. "My names Ayessa." She introduced. "Let's just hope it was mixed right then. If it wasn't," She held the glass up towards Sabastian. "Then I want you to die with me. Take a sip."

"With the devil have we bargained and may hell be our covenant" He winked before taking the glass and taking a sip of it as well "Now that our fates are entwined...I'm going to stop referencing ancient philosophy and instead ask, Whats brought you here? I doubt it was to test your luck with poisonous drinks" He said offering her an actual smirk this time "No offence you don't exactly look to be the type that spends much time in these types of haunts "

She felt some sort of security when she saw the stranger take a sip of her drink. It was true, she was not a drinker. She preferred remaining elegant and on her feet at all times, but today struck her as unique. She wasn't sure why. Perhaps she wanted to find work here, something easy for some quick money. She was seriously lacking in bounty partners and teams lately, so perhaps this was her sub conscious trying to fill in some sort of void. "Just looking around for people," she said, before sliding the cup of ale back towards the bartender. "Something smoother and less fatal, please." She turned her head. "What are you doing here?" He seemed far more the type than she to be here, but she figured it wouldn't hurt to ask.

"Could be looking for a drink, or a woman" He chuckled softly "Don't worry the latter isn't my intent. Just passing some time untill a good job turns up, credits are starting to get a tad scarce so I'm keeping an eye out for work. And besides theres only so much time I can spend sitting on a ship before I go stir crazy. I've been stuck in enough cramped spaces to last a life time" He mumbled the last, part, absently rubbing his arm as he recalled his captivity at the hands of Sith..Gods he could still remember every moment

A part of Ayessa cringed as he mentioned looking for a lady. Here? Please. Maybe if you were looking for a dancer or a sleezy maiden for hire. Was that what she was to him? Is that really how she presented herself? Her eyebrows perked up as he mentioned looking for work. Another hunter? A new glass of what appeared to be wine was set in front of her. She swirled it around a bit before deciding to finally respond to Sabastian. "So, you're a bounty hunter? What do you think I am?" Half of what she said was to try and spook him. It wasn't the wisest thing to go around throwing around the fact you killed for a living. What was next? He was also a sith?

Sabastian had been around enough sith, and jedi, to be able to identify one. It was just apperance wise, there were several telltale signs, most notably the way one carried oneself, how even when whispering one commanded attention, so it wasn't too much of a stretch for Sabastian to say "In the simplest form possible, you're trouble" He said it in a way though that conveyed it as more of a compliment than anything else. "And as for your question...bounty hunter is such a crude term. I prefer something a tad more subtle , such as a...Fugitive Recovery Agent....."

A smile curled at the edge of her lips. She took a sip of her wine, her mind purring as the flavourful mouthful satisfied her recovering taste buds. “I’m only trouble is someone forces me to be,” she replied. It was clear to her now, that they both sensed each other’s presence in the dark side. She would’t admit anything, however. Not here. As Sabastian attempted to give bounty hunters a more appealing name she couldn’t help but laugh. “Call it what you want, the reputation we have is still trash.” It was a strange job for her to invest her time in. She always envisioned herself as a high class person with standards set pretty high for herself and others- yet she found herself in a job that most looked down upon, but most needed. Perhaps that was it. She was able to prove to herself many things when on the job. So, a new question sparked her interest. “What got you into hunting, then?” She took another sip of her wine, now invested in this conversation.

"Well originally desperation. But once I had enough credits to quit I....Didn't..." He admitted going quiet for a few moments as he seemed to pause and think before continuing on "I'm......Good at it, really good at it. Some days I even enjoy the thrill of the hunt. Its all come naturally to me...To be assigned prey, to stalk it, then to close in for the kill" In his eyes gleamed the lust for a kill for the tiniest of moments before he managed to banish it. "Besides, I've never really been the military discipline type. So what other options did I really have? I mean it was either Semi-Legal bounty hunting or Wanton murder, so I chose the path that atleast guranteed a few credits...and the ability to sit peacefully in a cantina and enjoy a decent drink......What about you?" He asked, after taking another sip of his drink, which was now empty, and promtly set back on the counter.

He began explaining to her. Why he became one and why he remained on. Ayessa had a notable interest in what he was saying. He was speaking as more of an animal than a being. He talked about enjoying the thrill of a hunt, rather than the adrenaline you get from pushing yourself to the limits. Stalking prey. Killing it. Bounties were more than just that and Ayessa knew that, but he didn't. It appeared that their styles of hunting were very different from one another. Suddenly, the question came back to her. "As an Echani, I was naturally taught martial arts. Let's just say I practiced far more than my peers and I'm more lethal than any other Echani you'll ever meet." She tapped the hilt of her lightwhip. "My weapon choice is pretty unique, too. I figured achieving bounties with it would give me a good name in the business," She finished, taking another sip of her wine.

This piqued his interest, he himself had studied various martial arts forms himself. "Huh Quite interesting. I've done some study myself, though i've only found limited material related to the Echani forms. I'm more veresed in Teras Kasi, K'Tara and K'Thri " He admitted, tilting his head to the side as if wanting to view her from multiple angles "An intresting weapon certainly, though I've never picked one up, I've seen one or two people using one...I've noticed a few....problems, with it. Unless the wielder is already a master of ordinary whips, its far more likely the wielder will maim or injure themselves. In addition it has to be swung in wide arcs, making it hard to gain momentum during an attack. Its difficult to use defensively, as tassles make for a poor parrying tool, leaving the wielder voulnerable to both great speed or brute strength. In fact, i've seen it before if you hit the blade of a lightwhip hard enough it will short our violently. Now theres advantages aswell, the sheer volume of blade you have, and the terror factor of an opponent unexpectedly having to face you, especially if you're skilled with it, aswell as the added range "
