Companion Besh, the Firefist by some was considered small compared to the main galaxy but it was still a galaxy by all rights and standard full of thousands of planets and moons. The jedi master was guiding the ship as she focused with the force to fly them through the blackness between galaxies. She had promised to teach Corvus a lesson and that was what they could do here in the quiet while investigating the coordinates of jedi locations in the companion galaxies. She wasn't certain about all of it but searching through some of it gave her ideas.

For now Matsu was waiting there until Harmony took over with Saeko who worked hard as pilot and co-pilot. THe jedi master moved back towards the main room that was converted to work as a meditation chamber while she sat there. "Alright Corvus, we will begin. You just need to be ready for what is to come." She had practiced this with the Aing-Tii and the priests but teaching it was a whole other beast going forward with someone who she had not known... but the jedi grandmaster was different at least compared to others. She liked learning and working for something.

"Sit and relax your body." Matsu stripped down to the bare essentials, the thicker robe gone in place was a tank top and pants while her feet were bare. The tattoo's from infiltrating gangs and prisons there decorating most of her body but her throat being placed just right so the collar of a robe obscured them, her chest wrapped in a sarashi under the tank top. Her hair was loose around her back and sides like a curtain sitting there with the earrings delicately placed at the lobes of her ears. Matsu's hand grazing and bringing out the purple crystal on a chain as it radiated force energy.

Then the stone came out while she set them together and the energy crashed like a wave just sitting there. The glowing stone burning like a sun before the crystal below it responded and returned the same amount of energy. Matsu producing the sigil as she put it on her neck. "You are going to want your best things for channeling the force into yourself." She looked at the glove the tora that she had for Corvus to use. The golden tipped fingers and crystal that could let her channel and sustain the force energies while the meditated and practiced. "All is in readiness."

Mostly, what was left was the grandmaster before Matsu was speaking and looking at her. "Make sure your minimal, nothing that can be lost or misplaced. This is a very powerful technique and I had to scrap tooth and nail to learn and focus it. We don't want to cause everything around us to disappear at the speed of light leaving us in a vacuum." Or worse, she had been given the warnings from the Aing-Tii as they had taught her going forward until she closed her eyes breathing in the scents all around them. The calmness washing over the ship while they were in hyperspace.

Firefist was known to Corvus. For one reason and one reason only. In his time, Obi-Wan had viewed the planet. The Clone Wars was the era and he'd been in the Jedi Archives. Any fan-girl of Kenobi knew that!

But she wasn't here to reminisce about losing up obscure Obi-Wan facts. She was here to learn.

Corvus had been warned to dress in a certain manner, so wore her running lycra. A long sleeved top and shorts, with running shoes adorning her feet. So when told to relax, she say cross-legged and entered into a light meditative state. Related but able to hear Matsu perfectly well. Around her neck were the two necklaces she'd received from Braith. She simply didn't remove them...ever.

Except for now. The warning was enough and she took them off and moved them to a safer place. The Force energy being radiated was palpable and Corvus could not wait for the training to begin.

Matsu saw that she was ready and they were ready to begin, slowly she focused on the force energies around them to make a bubble as close as she could to herself and corvus but not suffocatingly close. "The force is like a river, powerful, shapeless yet holding shape as you use it. You can't hold it in your hands for long and there will always be more of it then you will ever be able to contain." She breathed in haling the force energies before she was continuing and bringing her hand out to solidify force energy. "It generally cannot be redirected or contained except sometimes by violent or destructive means and going away from the path of it is not done easily."

But there were always ways around things, a loop in the hole and Matsu was focusing the force onto the bubble around them as the world became muted, colors and sounds within the ship changing while she imagined it in her head more like strands on a tapestry going back with one pulsing and standing out. "But it can be done, with a strong enough use of the force and anchoring yourself to the present while you can go and observe the past." She said it and was focusing the force energy. "You start by thinking of your present, where you are, the details are important... and slowly you think of where you want to look. THe further back the more detail and the more strength it will take."

Matsu kept the force energies flowing while slowly she was focusing on Corvus to keep them going further and further back. The area outside the bubble changed to look like the jedi temple for a moment before it was collapsing in the attack on Coruscant. The debris slowly creeping back into place as she imaged it within her minds eyes and was flowing through the stream finding resistance to the energy. "In the stream you will be going against the flow of time of the force of all that is natural and it will be noticable. You will be able to observe and that is it, interacting in ways can cause problems and damage the timeline."

Slowly Matsu opened her eyes while she was sitting there and everything seemed bigger while she was trying to minimize their presence in the flow before she was able to see more things. The room clear as soldiers were moving through it in pristine white armor, further back as young children were in it training and slowly the stream stopped. Matsu hanging them there in the corner while a drone buzzed past them, the sound of lightsabers humming and Matsu could observe the entire room. "You must know where you want to go, when it was and most importantly how to be small. How to observe and analyze without interacting."

She was making it sound like teaching a small child but no, only a master at th best of times would be able to learn this and she wasn't the best at it slowly working to let Corvus observe as the greenish grey jedi was teaching and talking to the children. Teaching them about saber defense and how to be jedi without giving into anger or violent tendencies for their own safety. THen there was more while the doors opened with a man coming through as all the fangirls fawned over the beard and their voices were both clear and muted with a small dilation from the bubble to keep them hidden.

Awesome post BTW. Truly awesome :)

Corvus listened. A benefit of being the Grand Master was unrivalled access to Holcrons. Plus she was something of a book-worm — and had spent the first ten years of her life as a Youngling and Padawan in the library almost constantly.

So she knew a lot about a number of Force Abilities — even if she couldn’t use them. But she knew what to expect — and that gave her a head-start. Plus, she excelled at Meditation.

So she listened to Matsu’s words about the Force and relaxed as the world changed around her, trusting in her fellow Jedi to keep them safe.

She sensed they were going back in time — a feeling confirmed by Matsu. And she recognised Coruscant — oddly a planet she’d never visited, it was taken by the One Sith before she arrived on Ossus.

But she was not distracted by the view, as she took in every word the Jedi Master spoke, ensuring she committed it all to memory.

Finally they found themselves in a room. Master Yoda was teaching. She felt like she knew him, having interacted with his gatekeeper before. And then…oh boy! And then he appeared. The doors opened and he walked in. Post clean-shaven and pre-grey hair. Obi-Wan in his prime.

The temptation to interact was immense, but she restrained herself, albeit the grin would take a week to wipe off her face.

Matsu was watching and observing it all as she turned looking at Corvus just for a moment. There was something strange coming from the jedi grandmaster and she couldn't place it for the life of her... well she could but saying the grandmaster was enamored and infatuated with the ancient jedi master well that would be strange wouldn't it? She was thinking about it though and whispered careful. "It would be a good exercise to practice walking back. Perhaps to observe the ancient bathing rituals of the jedi." She said it with a small nudge just to probe and see her reaction while going back to being silent and the voice came through. "Lost a planet master Obi-Wan has." Matsu was watching the children giggle a little as they went to showing a star map and the galaxy to find Kamino in some of the companions. Themselves heading in the opposite direction this time.
