Rawr!!!
Here are the nominations for the COTM!!!
Good luck to everyone and loving all the threads that happened this month!
I nominate Valaine Valentine for my vote, for a new person to this board they have been a blast to write with. I have seen their posts in other threads and their rp is always consistently fun to read. For their first ever character here I look forward to seeing where Valaine goes, and if she does learn from Vakhari.
This thread here -> X has been wonderful, and I am sure others who have interacted with Valaine both IC and OOC can support my vote.
As for my question for whoever the winner is, where would you like to see your character in a year?
I nominate Morrow . In a time where instant gratification is the norm, Morrow's slow burn development feels like reading an actual book that's also not generated by an AI.
Char bio link.
EDIT: I guess I had to ask a question so: Cantina Band or Jedi Rocks?
I could kiss you.
I nominate Koda Fett. Bro doesn't miss, even with short move-the-plot-along posts, it's always fire. Can't really describe the energy he brings, but it always hypes a thread up. Best bounty hunter on the board, no contest. (and I'm licensed!)
QUESTION: Biggest aspiration for the character going forward?
Prefacing that I have not been bought with a nomination.
I'm not a big reader of threads I'm not involved in, either because I'm lazy or just have less time than I try to convince myself I do. That said, I find myself pretty routinely checking into Morrow threads as he's just a fun, morallybankruptconflicted character that has some great reactions to things going on around him. Special shoutout to Talin Treicolt as well, as reading their dynamic with Morrow has been one of the highlights.
QUESTION: What's your process for pacing character development and not rushing things or taking things too slow?
I am going to nominate Koda Fett , so we'll written. So efficiently ruthless, he is earning the "No 1" tag in so many ways. It is a pleasure to read.
Question - Any regrets IC.and/or OOC?
Yeah, wasn't aware that RPJ's were also exempt </3
Changing vote then to Blaire Sal-Soren (who was going to be my choice for next month lol)
Blaire has had a lot of great development this month, both in various threads and in our recent faction invasion:
A Turn Around The Garden
Total Eclipse of The Heart
The Scars We Carry
Also, since I forgot my question:
How many drafts of a post/writing piece do you typically go through, before you get to the finished work?
I nominate Rathmar Praji.
He has already set up an entire podracing thread, a galactic shockboxing thread, and is in the process of setting up an even bigger podracing thread and eventually swoop bike racing thread. All the events so far have been well done with a considerable of effort put into them. I've been having a blast with all of them, thanks!
Serolonis Riot Racing
Galactic Shockboxing Tournament
Oh, I have to ask you a question, right? Did you find it difficult to create all of these events? I know the podracer had both a map and individual hazards for each leg!
Good luck to everyone and loving all the threads that happened this month!
