Character Concept Phase

Alright, so I have Rhoujen pretty publicly dead (his legacy continues though in a second chapter of his life as Seren), and Leon is... well, he's not much fun for me right now. That said, I have a character concept for a Blank Slate. The kind of how Sally (Salem [Norongachi]) started. Amnesiac, doesn't know what's going on, who/where he/she is, etc.

So I'd like community help to put this blank slate together, which basically means give me ideas on race/sex, etc. and help me with storyboard ideas like how to make Force sensitivity uncertain.

It's a bit complex for me at the moment, especially since I haven't done anything like it before, so yeah. This could be lots of fun for me.

I did this for Bufu Lompyuta, by making him from a planet that has no knowledge of the greater galaxy, he was taken from his home planet.. and has no idea what the feth is going on. Can't even speak basic.

You could be from some backwater planet, coudl be some alchemical expiriment, could've been born in some prison hole as lived there as a child (get the reference?), could have been born to a crazy mother, and raised by droids in the back room of her ship, never having seen another living being in your life.

Possibilities are endless.

For the race, Epicanthix, because Epicanthix are best. About the Force thing, maybe subconscious Force Signature Concealment?

Looked up the Epicanthix, and that's quite interesting. I like the idea of the mentalists running around the forum not being able to screw with me.

Alright, update on my character things:


I think I'll choose an Epicanthix. I really really like the idea of not having people screw with my brain. Back-story itself can honestly be avoided, since amnesiac. That leaves Force Sensitivity. 42's idea for subconscious suppression is interesting but I'm not sure how that would... work... I still need to determine if I want to go Male or Iron Man (FeMale), as well.

Perhaps a subconscious application of force sense, and when you feel that hair-raising feeling of danger, you subconsciously hide your force signature, like a fight or flight reaction.

That's... actually pretty cool concept. Force sensitive as a root for that occasional Harry Potter "What just happened?" but nobody would know right away because of reflexive hiding...

So an amnesiac Epicanthix girl who has a quirky Force sensitivity that makes her difficult to detect. That's quite unusual sounding.
