Sophia Walsh
Captain Walsh
Sophia didn't stand out amongst the other patrons at the cantina. They were all too busy chatting it up with a friend or colleague to notice her. It was the way she liked it now a days alone and unbothered. It made things much less complicated in the long run she found. A less that she found out the hard way as it hadn't been that long ago she was one of them. Sophia had been one of those bright bubbly cheerful girls until everything changed and she grew up. Now here she was finishing up her first bottle of beer alone back where it all started.
Sighing she turned the bottle in her hand as her head turned slightly to the left glancing to the giggling couple in the corner. The boy, as far as she could tell, was a Republic officer of some sort. It wasn't a Navy uniform from what she could see from here unless they had changed that much. This was doubtful because in all her years they never had and she doubted they ever would. The girl was dressed as a civilian which didn't surprise her. That's normally how it worked and fitting into the cookie cut mold was important she found. Brushing a loose strand of brown hair behind her ear, Sophia let out another soft sigh turning her attention once again turned to the bottle.
Finishing it off she signaled to the bartender to get her another. Sophia wasn't familiar with the alien managing the bar but that didn't surprise her after all it had been years since she had been here. Well, not this planet exactly but in Republic Space. The Sith had long since taken over Coruscant and their presence was ever growing. She hadn't been doing much to assist those that were trying to fed them off. That was just an excuse, wasn't it? Everyone had their problems and instead of facing them Sophia chose the bottle.
Over the years, the bottle had been good to Sophia. It had been there to help dull the pain and suppress the nightmares. It wasn't like others whom skipped town, cheated on her, or forgot about her. No, the bottle was always there when she needed it. A light smile appeared on her face as the second bottle appeared in front of her. Thanking the bartender so grabbed a hold of it and took a swig. Sometimes though she wished there was someone to talk to.
