- Allows the wearer to communicate with individuals across the Galaxy, and between Realspace and the Masque (a City in the Nether), so long as there's a bead formed of their blood upon the dagger's hilt. It can only hold a maximum of 7 'beads', and once a bead is removed to make space for another it will return to blood form and no longer be useable. Another sample would need to be gathered to recreate it.
- Comes pre-loaded with 3 'blood beads'. One each for reaching Arcturus, Marcus, and Eloise.
- Acts as a telepathic transceiver, facilitating long distance communication between the wearer and those with whose blood the 'beads' are formed from.

, Arcturus decided that he needed to make her something sentimental to wear on their wedding day and beyond. Being that their family is known for being a little separated at times, it seemed like a no brainer to provide her with a way to communicate privately with those she held near and dear, regardless of where they were in the Galaxy, or even the Nether (Specifically Masque, where Arcturus' workshop is). Provided that the pendant's hilt holds a blood 'bead' formed from the individual she wishes to communicate with, Rhiannon can focus upon it and telepathically speak with them.The 'beads' are just droplets of blood temporarily crystalized around the hilt of the dagger. It is capable of holding only 7 droplets, and once removed from the pendant these 'beads' will return to their fluid forms and no longer be useable. In order for a 'bead' to form, the dagger itself must be used to acquire the blood. This can be as simple to achieve as a pinprick on one's fingertip.
Along the face of the dagger lies a multitude of minuscule runes, barely visible to the naked eye, which act as a focus and bind the necklace's properties. It's through these that the 'beads' are able to form and remain, and the long distance connection established. It is important to note that it can only be initiated one way (by its wearer), but once a connection is established both parties can communicate freely. Only one individual can be contacted at a time, it cannot be used for family meetings!
