Intent: To recreate Betna's personal, handmade sidearm of choice for sale on the open market as well as to provide a rugged, reliable, and distinctly Mandalorian weapon for the galaxy.

- Crimson Tide (Sith vs. Republic Invasion of Manaan) - Betna uses his .44 revolver through the thread as a main weapon after being badly injured, including using it to kill a number of NPCs to snag explosives which he later used to sink Ahto City. Total posts of thread - 321.
- The Day I Died - Betna swaps to the .44 after his shotgun runs dry, scoring a number of hits on his target before his bounty escaped (the thread died, honestly). Total Posts of Thread - 29 posts.

Originally made by Betna in his youth as a rugged and reliable sidearm for his work, the Chaavlar Revolver can now be purchased on the market.
With the original, handmade model as the standard template, work began to produce the Chaavlar on a wider scale. The result was two variants at two levels of production, both a nasty weapon to face down in a fight. The pistol is made in the .44 caliber only and can take the variety of ammunition available for that calibur. The weapon weighs in at 1.1kg, making any recoil easier to handle and turning the pistol into an excellent clubbing weapon in a pinch. The Chaavlar is accurate and hard hitting, easily downing a target with a solid hit with a high amount of stopping power. The weapon is rugged, durable, and reliable meaning it works in a wide variety of weather without fail and is very simple and easy to maintain. Lastly, the weapon is highly customizable and features an ergonomic grip for ease of use.
For the Mandalorians, a modified variant is sold and offered. This variant differs from the standard in only one way: beskar. The "Mandalorian Special", as it's often called, is thinly plated in beskar, making the weapon resistant to lightsaber blows and even more resistant to damage at the cost of increased weight (though increased weight does mean much more manageable recoil).
The downsides are simple and basic. It's a slug thrower, so you're ammunition capacity is limited. It's also a single action weapon meaning each shot requires a trigger pull. Lastly, it is a heavy weapon and the ammunition is fairly heavy in large quantities.
