Affiliation: The Cerberus Corporation
Manufacturer: Sienar-Jaemus Fleet Systems
Model: Cerberus Construction Shuttle MK.I [CCS1]
Modularity: No
Production: Minor
Material: Durasteel
Classification: Construction Shuttle

Length: 100 Metres

Width: 45 Metres

Height: 85 Metres

Armament:
Rating: 0
None. The CCS1 is a construction craft and is not used for defence or attack reasons. It’s armaments are made up of mining lasers and drills that are used during the construction of Cerberus projects.

Defenses:
Rating: 0
None. As mentioned above. The reinforced Durasteel hull is heavy enough to withstand the wears and tears of construction but military attacks will devastate them.

Hangar: The CCS1 has a underslung hanger that is used as a construction pit for the Cerberus projects they are used on. It is not used for holding ships or independent fighters nor could it due to the central design of the CCS1

Special Features: The CCS1 has a specially designed system that allows additional CCS1 craft to latch to the sides and top of a base unit, this allows the CCS1 to become a solid base for larger construction projects beyond the ability of a singular craft.

Maneuverability Rating: 15
Speed Rating: 18
Hyperdrive Class: None

Strengths:
Solid: The CCS1 is a solid ship. It’s hull is thick and the level of reinforcement that goes into not only the main body build but also any additional pieces that are used for the construction of Cerberus’ construction processes.
Purpose Designed: Without the needs for Military adaptability SJFS was able to purposefully design the CCS1 to be what it is meant to be, a construction hub. This means that it is a forerunner in it’s design, it holds the latest designs for the sector of construction.
Lightly Crewed: The CCS1 requires an active living crew of twelve to fully operate meaning that a large workforce is not necessary for the large ship to be fully operational. However the ship does rely on a heavy amount of automated and droid workers in order to allow such low crew stations.

Weaknesses:
Not armed: The CCS1 has no armament at all. It is defenceless against any form of attack both aggressively and defensively.
Bulky: The CCS1 is a nightmare to handle outside of atmosphere. It relies heavily on sensor driven guidance for any manoveur inside or outside of orbit and the pilots of the CCS1 are heavily trained in order to do as such. Cerberus heavily invest in these pilots and are loathe to lose them to rival companies.
Accident Cover: Insurance wise the CCS1 are harmless, however heavy insurances are put into place on any construction project as if a CCS1 was to be involved in a catalytic accident while on surface the result would be devastating to the area due to the gasses and fuels used in the construction.

Description:
The Cerberus Construction Shuttle Mk:I is exactly what it says on the box. Designed by the Sonn Family designers of SJFS for the newly founded Cerberus Corporation it is to be the flagship design in order to create Cerberus’ construction efforts outside of the levels of normality and launch them onto a galactic scale.

Each CCS1 is capable of creating entire neighbourhoods of prefabricated structures at the flick of a switch. Using recycled and raw materials from various sources, the CCS1 is a self efficient building machine. Upon entering a planet the CCS1 latches itself to surface of the world and begins to work. Thousands of intrigated droid and automative parts work in unison to turn any surface into a pre-designed planned block before the interior compartments are cycles on a giant turn belt that allows the next stage to continue.

The stages of a CCS1’s process is simple:

Stage 1: Latch
Stage 2: Clear
Stage 3: Flatten
Stage 4: Base
Stage 4: Construct
Stage 5: Colonise

Each stage has a specific set of systems and it works in unison with each other to go from stage 1 through to stage 5 in less then forty hours. This means that the Cerberus Corporation can, with prior planning have entire colonised settlements in place in less then two days with perfect conditions.

The CCS1 has also been designed for beyond orbital travel, the intention for spacial colonisation of asteroid fields and space station construction being the main drawing points of this feature.

Another design element was the ability to stack the CCS1. Basically allowing multiple CCS1 to become slave rigged to a central unit in order to provide a large surface area to construct. This works both horizontally and vertically to allow Cerberus to use the CCS1 to create various other projects such as the scrapers of city planets in less time then the competition. Of course it comes at a price, with the projects launched by the CCS1 to be basic level construction which is both bland and utilitarian. A method however that fits in fine with the Cerberus Fund Project of rebuilding destroyed settlements for charity.

A second more elaborate model is in the works or so the rumour states that will see more intricate designs be possible in the future.

Your explanations are solid and they make sense, but I still need armament and defense ratings, even if they are "0".

Otherwise, this looks solid.
