CENTRAL INFORMATION BUREAU
The Central Information Bureau is the law enforcement, intelligence and education organisation of the First Order. Its inspiration is, due to the long standing history of it and the undeniable effectiveness it always showed, taken from the ISB of the First Galactic Empire. The First Order prides itself with the absolute of its laws and values, maintaining them at all costs and through any means - and the Information Bureau is responsible for it.
Controlling the law enforcement, the Overwatch, which is directly under the CIB's command in the entirety of the First Order domain, including client states, it is their duty and responsibility to install, maintain and enforce the laws of the First Order at all times. While known for harsh and forceful actions, the ISB will ultimately start with negotiations, talks and advice to shift and transition before any armed units or covert units are used.
Under the wing of the Bureau are also the external and internal intelligence services, watching over both enemies, allies, military and other own institutions alike. They are not omniscient but they are aiming to achieve to come as close as possible to it. It is important here to make the distinction between the CIB intelligence services, the Strategic Information Directorate [SID], external, and the Security Agency [SA], internal, and the Ministry of Intelligence, with the latter being controlled by the Central Command.
Furthermore the CIB controls the Ministries of Education and Development, responsible for education, universities and values and responsible for development of infrastructure, health and integration. Both very active and very efficient organs which set the ISB as the pounding heart of the First Orders future.
Departments
- Overwatch
The Overwatch is the common police of the First Order, not localised but organised as far and wide as the First Order's reach goes and responsible for maintaining and enforcing the laws and values the First Order has set. This includes vassal and client states, where the Law Enforcement will settle in to oversee local police and security forces.
- Strategic Information Directorate
The SID is responsible for gathering intelligence, information and all kinds of data from sources outside of the First Order, here especially from enemies but also allies. The Directorate also oversees the deployment of agents and spies to gather these information, perform black ops operations and eliminate targets.
- Security Agency
The Agency is responsible for overseeing everything going on inside the First Order space, from overseeing other organisations and departments to protecting against foreign spies and agents, its responsibilities are to maintain stability and integrity of the First Order organs. It also deploys the Purge Troopers, internal troops, which are responsible for the more aggressive operations as well as overseeing prisons and ISB facilities.
- Ministry of Education
The Education Ministry sets parameters for schools and universities, engages in activities for youth and old, takes care of broadcasting and many more recreational activities for the common citizens of the First Order. It is probably the state organ with which the citizens of the First Order are most in touch with.
- Ministry of Development
The Minsitry of Development is responsible for expansion of infrastructure, health and the integration of newly acquired territories into the First Order. They are fielding many sub-branches of industry relations to achieve these goals, including a Medical Corps, energy and mining contractors, construction companies and much more.
