The First Order

The First Order Central Command or Imperial Central Command (CEHICO. or C.H.COM] is the highest board of military structure and decision-making and directly reporting to the Supreme Leader. It is composed of high command members of the Stormtrooper Corps, the Imperial Fleet and the Special Operations Command as well as those nobles or vassal leaders who are in command of a military formation. The Central Command is a strictly strategic organ, not meant to make decisions on operational or tactical level and will leave these to the respective commanders.

The Central High Command oversees the Ministries of Logistics and Military Intelligence both to make sure that the military-centric focus is maintained and at all times both supplies and information can flow freely without issues or personal preferences.

The Central High Command follows strictly its hierarchy and respects rank and renown above any origins or family bonds. As a meritocratic organisation, the military is meant to stand out above nobility and family bonds, showing that anyone has the possibility to rise with the right abilities.

• Praetorian High Command - The Praetorian High Command is overseeing the operations of the Imperial Praetorian Guard, the Imperial Praetorian Knights and the Imperial Guard.
  
  
• Stormtrooper Corps Command - The Stormtrooper Corps is the central ground force formation of the First Order.
  
  
• Imperial Fleet Command - The Imperial Fleet is the navy of the First Order and while ground forces are separated between First Order and Auxillary units, no individual will hold power over a naval force outside of the Imperial Fleet to negate the possibility for rebellion.
  
  
• Ministry of Logistics - The Ministry of Logistics is responsible for production, procurement and supply of equipment, supplies, fuel and vehicles for the First Orders Armed Forces.
  
  
• Ministry of Military Intelligence - The Central Command led intelligence is focused in the Ministry to allow for swift and focused acquisition and access to information to be utilized in war.
  
  
• Imperial Auxiliary Command - The Imperial Auxillary are the vassal-state ground forces, diversely equipped and trained which are responsible for planetary defence and to respond to calls for aid in offensive operations.

FIRST ORDER ARMED FORCES
VANGUARD AGAINST CHAOS​

The First Order Armed Forces [FO.AF] are the military of the First Order. Originating in a mixture of imperial remnant troops, local household troops and imperialist loyalists, what is now known as the Armed Forces consists of three combat arms: the Stormtrooper Corps, the Imperial Fleet and the Auxilliary Corps. The first two are making up for its lack in quantity with an exceptional training and quality standards regime, providing the First Order with a hammer and sword to bring down its enemies. And it furthermore has the Ministries of Logistics and Military Intelligence under it.

The Armed Forces are answering directly to the Central High Command [CEHICO] which is in return only answering to the Supreme Leader himself. In his absence, the Lord Executor would take regency and supreme command while the Join Chiefs of Staff would handle the day to day business of the Empire. The High Command, ranks A1 to A3 are always part of the CEHICO and oversee most of its assets and operations.

Stormtrooper Corps
The Stormtrooper Corps, other than in imperial predecessor governments, is the standard ground fighting force of the First Order, it has no regular Army. The Corps is equipped with better weapons and armour, has higher training standards and is deeply connected to its goals than previous Stormtrooper incarnations. They are the uniform face of the First Order and its growing military might, standing their ground for order and against chaos.

Stormtrooper Legions​

The most famous aspect of the Stormtrooper Corps are its Legions, the most commonly used and deployed organisational unit of the Corps it is about 10.000 strong and usually maintains a certain identity as well as an own coat of arms. Soldiers inside a legion share a strong comradery and common identity, a fact that is highlighted and promoted by their drills and education.​

Military Academy​

The most notable sub-branch of the Stormtrooper Corps is its vast Military Academy where the volunteers are trained and educated. It is renowned for its high quality standards, thorough education procedures and life-fire exercises. With the expansion of the First Order's domain, dependencies would send their youth to the academy to be flawlessly and proudly incorporated into the new regime and power of the First Order.​

Imperial Fleet
The Imperial Fleet is the common navy of the First Order and directly under the control of the CEHICO. Just as the Stormtrooper Corps. the Navy does not count on numerical superiority but class and quality of its officer corps and warships as well as superior logistics. Fast battlefleets with own supply ships are key to the operational freedom and range the Fleet has.

Battlefleets​

The Battlefleets are the standard strategic and operational units the Imperial Fleet operates in. With further substructures to it, they are composed of a balanced roster of ships and will conduct operations such as patrols and sorties with a selected assortment of ships best suited for the task. The First Orders famous Resurgence-class is often used a flagship by distinguished Admirals.​

Starfighter Corps​

The First Order Starfighter Corps is a force directly operated under the Imperial Fleet Command and is composed of wings of starfighters with hyperspace-capable vessels. It is both an elite force and a quick reaction group to threats of enemy raids and to counter hit & run tactics. It is a prestigious unit but also considered to be extremely dangerous and daring.​

Fleet Academy​

The equivalent of the Military Academy but for the Imperial Fleet has exactly the same purpose and holds even more prestige than for the ground forces. Its officer training is exemplary and meant to produce the best naval fighting force the Galaxy has ever seen. Not relying on firepower alone, nor speed, nor armour, but to adapt to the ever-changing battlefields and make the Imperial Fleet a best of all trades.​

Auxiliary Command
The Auxiliary Command is reponsible for the oversight and control on the system armies of the individual system lords, issuing commissions and standards they have to comply to for being viable and useful auxiliary units. They have the Compliance Bureau under it which is responsible for both coordinating loyalty and checked with the CIB as well as calculating the tithe the individual system lords have to pay to the First Order.

Auxiliary units can be as diverse as the Galaxy itself and be composed of conscripted infantrymen or fully equipped mechanised units. This is entirely dependent on the wealth and possibilities of their home region and what their overlord is willing to invest in them. This excludes any naval assets though to prevent any possibility for individual rulers to move and maneuvre without the Imperial Fleet.
