SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Power Armor: At it Core, Commander armor is the current transition from the standardized Mark Three armor and the currently in drafting Mark Four armor. This armor is a base improvement over the basic variant by including a ray-shielding system as a basic component, the inclusion of a large left hand power fist for melee and capabilities to wield vehicle sized rotary cannons with on hand. Though this armor isn't as heavy as specialized melee armor, it is afforded to each of the Five Marine Commanders.
  • Delta Grille: A Delta Grille is a built-in air filtration system for each conventional Marine and its design has not changed during its convergence into Commander Armor. It filters out atmospheric contaminants and corrosive gases. As a secondary effect, it is controlled by the mind, and can be activated at will. It allows the Commander, or any Space marine to amplify the sounds of their war cries to a thunderous yell that could shake the very ground.
  • HUD: The armor is based off the Mark 3's Heads up Display, and includes real time targeting information, ammunition count on on-board weaponry, rangefinders, and a selection of infrared, thermal, and night-vision overlays. As forward protection, the visor ports are hardened Transparasteel laminated with a Phrik laminate.
  • Fusion Reactor Backpack Kit: The energy needs for all variants of power armor is substantial, and as such the backpack doubles as the reactor housing. It incorporates cold fusion technology to interface seamlessly with the suit's armored shell allowing near lifelike movements without any sort of input lag.
  • Radio Antennae: As a Marine Commander is in-charge of an entire 2,000 man Legion of Elite Marines, he or she requires a antennae to seamlessly be in contact with all of his Lieutenants. This antennae is also mounted in a large head-crest of a Dragon spreading its wings. Acting as both an extra layer of armor for the Commander's Head and a protective housing for the Antennae.
  • Left Hand Energy Fist: A large hydraulically powered power fist is mounted on the Commander's left arm. A devastating weapon in melee range as it generates light and heat when striking full force. Able to melt through reinforced durasteel armor and sent the target flying a few meters. This is the most energy siphoning weapon located on a Commander's armor and can be configured to not use energy and used simply as a kinetic weapon. Even then, it is powerful enough to knock down reinforce concrete structures with a few blows, and even knock a Phase III Dark Trooper on his rear.
  • Shoulder Mounted Rocketpack (Optional): A enlarged variant of the conventional jetpack used by Mandalorian Crusaders mounted as an optional addition to Marine Commander Armor. It allows for increased maneuverability and the ability to close distance to an enemy at an incredible rate. However, it can only be used a few times before the fuel runs out thanks to the heavy weight of Commander's Armor.
  • Heat Seeking Surface to Surface or Surface to Air Missile System (Optional): A backpack mounted rocket pod of fifteen forty-millimeter rockets. This rockets come in three types, High Explosive, High Explosive Anti-Tank, Anti-Infantry Flechette, and Air-burst Shot. The rocket pod is always closed when not in use, and is armored to resist blaster fire.
  • Mark IV Helmet Model A: The Marine Commander's Helmet is extremely different from conventional Marine helmets. It is extra thick and study with an inbuilt Stirn-Panzer Brow-plate to defend against sniper fire. No other design changes were taken aside from a marginally thicker housing.
  • Onboard Scuttler: As with all Marine armor variants, each suit is equipped with an emergency scuttler device. Which after a period of time, a thermite gas is released inside of the suit. Destroying all internal components. If the suit is recovered, the shell will remain in a active state, and ready for refurbishment. However, if the suit is not within friendly hands in a 25 hour time-span. The suit will automatically detonate its Fusion Reactor.
STRENGTHS
  • Armor: A highly advanced and expensive upgrade over the standardized Mark III armor. This model of armor is triple laminated, strengthened durasteel cored armor. There are three layers to the armor. A laminate of Beskar as the topmost layer and a thicker Phrik layer underneath. As its core, a Durasteel alloyed with all three metals is what makes up the skeleton layer of the armor. A highly effective model of armor.
  • Firepower: In its standard configuration. Marine Commander armor is equipped with a Power Fist on the left arm, and a large rotary laser cannon on the right mounted directly to the armor. Optional components also include the Rocketpack and shoulder mounted missile launchers. Other options also include regular Marine weaponry and a melee focused kit.
  • Shielding: EMP Shielding of interior components are used in each Marine Commander's armor, making it resistant to EMP type devices.
  • Requires Upsilon Marine Augmentation: No mere human or any sort of individual without Augmentation can wear the suit of armor. Each suit is custom made to their respective Marine Commanders, and is both mechanically and bio-metrically linked to a Commander's Biosignal. If worn by a regular human their joints would be ripped out of their sockets by the sheer mass being moved around and the strength of the survo-motors built to make movement inside of the suit for any Augmented Marine relatively fluid.
WEAKNESSES
  • No External Shield: Power levels inside of the suit are spread equally between all systems. However, the Fusion reactor cannot power all aspects of the suit's internals. As such, no external rayshield has been built into the armor, reducing damage threshold against large blaster type weapons.
  • Disruptors: A few shots from a disruptor can easily damage the suit, as it is more like operating a piloted vehicle rather than a simple exoskeleton.
  • No Dexterity: As the suit is designed to harbor large caliber weaponry such as ballistic cannons or laser cannons. Any sort of dexterity more than, reach over and beat to a bloody pulp is nearly impossible. Other Marines are needed if doors need to be opened or if any sort of non standard maintenance is needed.
DESCRIPTION
Designed in the year of 850 ABY by Catharian Scientists for a means to outfit their skilled chosen Marine Commanders, the Mark 3 Commander armor is said to be the newest development in the Mark Three Series of Power Armor. It takes a multitude of design cues from conventional Mark 3 Power Armor and improves them to a high degree while allowing for modular changes to its core design to fit design terms used by each different Detatchment of Marines. However, the CM Variant of Mark 3 Armor is designed solely for each of the Five Commanders under the command of the Catharian Hegemony and many of them have taken to modifying their power armor for their specific use. Blood Marines for Short Range firepower, and Sons of Xzeench for sheer durability.

At its core, Commander armor is nearly identical to regular suits of Mark 3 armor however, the changes are more on the molecular scale as less durasteel is used in favor of rarer materials such as Mandalorian Iron and Phrik. Making each Commander worthy enough to conquer entire platoons of well armed soldiers without suffering any sort of heavy damage. But as the suits are designed for high levels of protection, it is very sluggish in combat. Slow to react, but when it does it hits with the power of a super-laser.

Its function in combat is to solely be protective equipment for a Marine Marine Commander. Most suits are equipped with large rotary laser cannons or auto-loading slug-throwing cannons as primary defense, with a close range option of a large wrist mounted power fist.

As with any sort of armored vehicle, if caught alone and focused down by sustained firepower, any suit of armor can fail. It is best supported with a large contingent of regular Catharian Army Troopers or other conventional Marines to defend the flanks. If protected and escorted in this manner, a Marine in armor can decimate his or her foes with the sheer firepower at their fingertips.

Typically, Marine Commanders do not join detachment of regular Marines in combat. But during large land battles against a determined enemy, a Marine Commander may be brought in to strengthen the resolve of both Army Troops and Marines. The presence of a Marine Commander is one of almost legendary proportions as they are considered to be the most skilled, elite, and long-living Marines in existence.

Your resistances need to be the provided One word answers. (None, Very Low, Low, Average, High, Very High, Extreme) for each category. Not the over all rating. The secondary information you provided would be best fit in the strengths and weaknesses.

I will also require you to reword the entirety of this submission. This is a Star wars site. Not a Warhammer 40k. While we do take inspiration from other sources, direct mentions such as "Space marines" "Chapters," and even direct mention of it being required to used by "Augmented beings" is way too close to plagiarism.

This is one of the biggest rules of the Chaos site. You will need to reword it to fit within the Star wars Universe as a whole.

After asking you to edit out all of the references of Warhammer lingo, or usage, you still leave in one of the Chaos goods, mentions of power-fists, and barely change up the names of weaponry that directly matches to what a Terminator would carry such as shoulder mounted canons, as well as vehicle sized weapons that they could wield with one hand.

You have not removed those mentions as I have asked. Secondly, this is still way to close to Warhammer armor for me to be comfortable even approving.

Finally, Disruptors have a power to be able to vaporize "Anything" according to the Wiki page. Being able to withstand multiple disruptor shots is not something I can approve of either.

This submission is Denied upon grounds of being too closely related to Warhammer, and near Plagiarism. If you feel like this judging is incorrect you may second chance it.
