STANDARD FEATURES
  • Ion Drives
  • Hazard and Damage Control Systems
  • Life Support Systems
  • Navigational Systems
  • Sensors and Targeting Systems
  • Communications Systems
  • Environmental Control Systems
  • Full spectrum Encryption/Decryption Networks
  • Full fire suppression system
ADVANCED SYSTEMS
  • Multi layered reinforced hull composed of ceramics, carbon and carbide layers of durasteel to withstand laser cannon hits if shields fail. The DS-1 Drop Ship is not designed as a one on one attack ship, but as a sturdy platform to put marines and equipment on soil. it's able to provide cover fire while deploying it's troop and equipment. It's primary purpose is to land troop and equipment in hot battle zones.
  • Advanced fire suppression, that include duranium carbide infused ceramic reinforced blast/ramp doors.
  • frequency jammer
Strengths:
  • Defensive: The DS-1 is designed to drop marines and equipment in heavy battle zones. It's hull is designed to take quite a beating from standard laser cannons and small personnel launched rockets.
Weaknesses:
  • Low Offensive Armament: This Drop Ship has a very minor offensive armament, as it is not designed to attack but rather defend itself and load.
  • Low stand alone fighting platform. It is not designed to be a strike ship, nor permanent base. It's turbo lasers are not effective on a well shielded planetary defensive target.
  • Defensive only, not effectively offensive in ship to ship engagement. It is not an attack carrier, but a deployment platform ship with defenses.

DESCRIPTION:

Castan built Drop ships are manufactured on Castagne to exacting standards. It's mission statement is to secure a full payload landing. This drop ship could also serve to pick up troops and personnel during evacuations.

[member="Karlie Lynn Destat"], hello. Just a couple of things here that I'd like to discuss.

If you could use one of the ratings utilized in the template (copied in spoiler below for your convenience) that would be amazing. It looks like here you just listed "Hangar Allocations" which is fantastic, just missing the rating.
  • Hangar Space: (Please provide the amount of fighters/support craft this submission can hold in it's hangar by count of Squadrons, which hold 12 average Starfighters. The higher your squadron count, the lower your Armament and number of advanced systems should be. )
    100 Meters: [Base: 0 | Very Low: 0 | Low: 0 | Average: 0 | Moderate: 0 | High: 0 | Very High: 1 | Extreme: 2]
  • 200 Meters: [Base: 0 | Very Low: 0 | Low: 0 | Average: 1 | Moderate: 1 | High: 2 | Very High: 3 | Extreme: 4]

[*]Hangar Allocations: (This is the allocated amounts of starfighters and support craft (dropships, shuttles, gunships, etc) this submission can hold in its hangar based on the maximum hangar space capacity listed above)
  • Starfighters: x squadrons
  • Support Craft: x squadrons (Minimum squadrons lists should match the squadrons listed for the "Base" rating for ship its size)

For here, you're overall ratings are just coming out a bit overpowered. I would consider lowering this by about 3 points overall.

[member="Karlie Lynn Destat"] it works well now. However and this is completely up to you, but now you're coming out as a bit underpowered. I'm fine to slap the approval on this now if you like but since you dropped 5 points so you have 2 points to play with now. Just trying to help you get what you're looking for is all. Let me know what you decide and we will press from there

Upped it just 1 on defense, [member="Alden Akaran"].
I'm good with it. It's all in the story writing anyway.

Slap away...but gently, mind you. :D
