Background:
Cardan was born on Geros, like all of his species. He was raised to be a xenophobic mongrel who should've depended on nothing but his people, and the weapon he was holding. And also like Cardan, Cardan, as soon as he was of rage and ample amount of credits, got the hell off his planet to go make his fortunes elsewhere. The first planet he landed on was, unsurprisingly Coruscant. And after a brief misunderstanding with the local Alliance recruiting office (he may or may not have set their speeder on fire and ate several bowls worth of snacks), he was recruited into the Alliance military and found good work as a soldier. He enjoys combat, and relishes his chance to prove himself in personal combat against a true foe- a Sith. He has not yet faced a Sith in personal combat, but relishes the chance to.

Weaknesses:
- Cardan is not all that intelligent. While not stupid, the pursuit of knowledge and scholarly matters interest him little, besides matters that pertain to his role in the Alliance military. He also has a pessimistic, objective worldview. He sees many issues in black and white.
- Cardan is extremely rebellious.
- Cardan's immune system, although slightly strengthened from years of traveling outside of Geros, suffers from a natural affinity for catching diseases. As such, working on foreign worlds without an envirosuit can be extremely hazardous to Cardan. He must also take precaution when caring for a wounded patient.
- Cardan usually, only, and probably will firstly result to violence to defuse, solve, or invoke a situation.
- Cardan's connection to the force is probably mediocre at best.
Strengths:
- Cardan is a massive, hulking brute of impressive strength- even for a Gerosian. He has the strength of nearly four adult humans, and can easily match, or even overpower a Wookie in terms of strength.
- Cardan is exceptionally gifted at combat. He excels especially, in close-quarters. Getting into a confrontation with Cardan is unwise if you're smaller than him.
- Cardan is fiercely loyal, and his allegiance to the Alliance is unwavering and unflinching, just by his words alone. Most attempts to dissuade from the Alliance will end in failure.
- Cardan is a fully-trained combat medic, and due to his loyalty and care for his fellow soldiers, makes an exceptional medic. He will stop at no lengths to save a casualty from the field. He can also administer aid at a fully-trained hospital nurse level, if the need arises.
- Cardan is a weapons expert. As such, most weapon systems are not unfamiliar to Cardan, and he can easily familiarize himself with many weapon systems.
